A good speech, definitely Insha Allah. I have a question. With all due respect to Br.Nouman, I sincerely take this liberty of debating the example given by him. As i understand, The arabic word ‘Rabb’ can not be used for anyone else than God himself. Not to a person who owns a goat, as said in the speech, as he is the master of the goat he owns.
As i have learnt, the Arabic word ‘Rabb’..has three meanings: (i) Lord and Master; (ii) Sustainer, Provider, Supporter, Nourisher and Guardian, and (iii)Sovereign and Ruler, He who controls and directs. God is Rabb in all the three meanings of the term. The rational of the basic Qur’anic message – ‘serve none but God’ – is that since God is man’s Rabb – Lord, Sustainer, Provider, Nourisher, etc. He alone should be the object of man’s worship and service.See, for example, Qur’an 2:21.
And Allah Knows Best.
Please explain if i am incorrect or otherwise.
Jazak Allah u Khair.
May Allah give us sincerity and correct knowledge of His deen. Ameen.

Dr. Nouman did not equate all three components of the word Raab to the goat owner. Rather that he has complete control in a mortal sense over the goat. Thus, with respect to control, the individual would be Raab. However, as you stated in your post, the word Rabb, in its completeness of the word is only befitting Allah SWT.
