Pack the court on Sunday to show your support for free speech!
British MP George Galloway has been banned from speaking in Canada by Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Jason Kenney. Mr. Galloway's legal team has applied for a judicial review of the ban and for an injunction on the ban – overturning it – until the review can be heard.
A hearing will be held in the federal court on Sunday where Mr. Galloway's legal team will make its case to overturn the ban. The hearing is open to the public.
Please join us to pack out the court! We need to show the judge and the wider public that we support free speech, and that we oppose the ban on George Galloway. The more of us there are in court, the stronger our case will be.
The judge will make a ruling at this hearing about whether or not to grant an injunction, to overturn Jason Kenney's ban on George Galloway.
Please also join us at 10:30am, one half-hour before the hearing begins, for a free speech rally outside the court house. Please bring your banners, placards and flags.
