Hiba Masood is a storyteller and educator who writes about life, parenting, feminism and politics daily on her Facebook page, Drama Mama.
She is also the author of two picture books for kids. Her latest book, Drummer Girl, published out of Minnesota's Daybreak Press, was awarded the Literary Classics Seal of Approval.
Hiba runs Happy Place, a story+art enrichment center for kids in Karachi, Pakistan. Her work in education has included 10 years of teaching experience as well as pressing for a more play-based approach to early childhood education and fighting for inclusion for her son, who is on the autism spectrum.
Her advocacy work for women includes leading women's circles and producing short feminist films. She was recently awarded the Miracle Woman award, in Pakistan's top women empowerment campaigns.
She believes in creative courage and aspires for beautiful impact in whatever she does.
