Touré is an Award winning Muslim Artist & Activist born and raised in West Baltimore, Maryland. Toure has taken his lifelong passion for change agency and catapulted himself among the emerging millennial influencers in the world.
As a citizen writer Toure covers Social justice, Black Muslim Narratives, Arts and Current events. As an Activist, Toure has spent the all of his adolescent life organizing programs for at-risk populations within the Baltimore and D.C. region. Toure's advocacy has earned coverage by The Washington Post, ESPN, NewsWeek, and the Nation.
Touré's 2016 debut compilation of poetry, "Black Seeds" is ranked in the top 100 best sellers on Amazon in African American poetry and Literature, and awarded Best Poetry Book of 2016 by Baltimore's acclaimed City Paper Magazine.
