born and raised in South Texas in an Iranian Christian household. He embraced Islam in 2003 while in college. He completed his Masters in Electrical Engineering from MIT in 2007, and now works as a System Engineer for a major oilfield services company. He is married to a sister from Qabeelat Durbah (which has only increased his love for AlMaghrib), and since August 2007 has been blessed with the adventures of fathering a little girl, walhamdulillah.
