I thought this was wonderful. I sent to my HR folks and my boss as well as some of my classmates.
If anyone can volunteer to make this into a blog-type article, I can post it on streetprophets and perhaps Sr. Ruth would consider posting it on her Chron blogs… it will serve well to inform.

I think there’s a typo on it. It says, “Try not to avoid” when I think it meant “Try to avoid”….

This was obviously made for non-muslims working for oil companies in muslim lands. A lot of what it says is not applicable to non-muslim countries.

Rick, it does seem prepared for Muslim lands, but only a little of it is not applicable here. Courteous behavior and knowledge of other cultures and religions that may induce a positive environment at work for all, is good to know for all.

Fine that Oil-giant Shell does so much for its Muslims! They should rather care for their ruined environment, my goodness. In Germany there are mosques- congratulations. But at the same time, muslims do not allow Christians the same rights in Muslim countries. That is pretty unfair, isn`t it. Something is wrong there!! Same rights for everyone, OK. Only egoists do not agree
