Alhamdolillah. All praise is for Allah, Who gave us from His Grace and Mercy Islam, gave us the blessed month of Ramadan in which to fasten our hearts in Iman and find strength for the months to come, gave us this blessed day of celebration, this Eid ul Fitr in which to show our thanks with joy amidst our families and communities, and caused on this particular Eid the overwhelming majority of Muslims all over the world to agree on the dates of Ramadan and Eid, walhamdolillah. From all of us at Muslimmatters, Eid Mubarak!

In addition to sharing your greetings here, we’d love to read/see your memories and reflections of the month passed and this Eid day that will be complete so soon.
Here’re my contributions: Allah gave me tawfeeq to make ‘itikaaf this year, and there has been too much good alhamdolillah in those nine days and nights for me to list all of it. But I found as I read the Qur’an that I wanted to keep with me at least some of the barakat of what I read, so I found myself taking notes. Where to keep the notes? I put them in my Fortress: to keep them safe, to keep them where I can find them easily, and because the notes I made in the covers of one book of remembrance will bi’idhnillah keep strong my connection to the Qur’an which is the best Dhikr, the best remembrance of Allah.
Bi’idhnillah, in the coming days (or weeks) you should be able to find recordings of the khatirahs, classes, and recitation offered to please Allah and for the benefit of the believers at the Clear Lake Islamic Center’s web site, themasjid.org. Shaykh Salah as Sawy’s lectures from the middle ten days should already be on-line. The khatirahs and lectures I attended in the last ten days were like answers to my prayers, alhamdolillah. Please share with us the links to those masajid that have made the effort to share the barakat of their dawah on-line.
Finally, I’m not personally a fan of nasheeds in English, but I like this one I found tonight about Ramadan. Why do I like it enough to share it on Eid? I miss Ramadan already. The video was put up by supporters of a UK-based charity, Muslim Aid.
Please support them and every Muslim agency that reduces the suffering of Allah’s slaves.
O Allah, accept from them their deeds and from us ours.

Bismillah walhamdolillah. May Allah accept my repentance and yours. I am an attorney, a stepfather, a husband, a son, and a Muslim. Studying Islam is a means, reflecting what I have learned is a must, and to Allah is the inevitable return.

Taqabbal-Allah Minna Wa Minkum – May Allah accept your Ibaadah, your Sajdahs, your Ruku’s, your Du’as, your Qiyaam, your Siyaam and accept from us all as well. Ameen.
SubhanAllah I miss Ramadan so much. I remind myself and my Dear Brothers and Sisters to also try to fast six days of Shawwaal (this month) so that Allah may reward us for fasting the entire year as has been narrated in an authentic hadeeth:
“Allaah has made for each hasanah ten like it, so a month is like fasting ten months, and fasting six days completes the year.†(al-Nisaa’i and Ibn Maajah. See also Saheeh al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb, 1/421) – http://tr.im/zfd6
Wa Iyyakum Tariq Bhai! I’m truly missing the Jamillah Garden farewell lunch we had with Ahmad Al-Farsi…now Insha Allah you’ll recognize who I am ;) I’m really enjoying Canada by the way, love it up here with so many Muslims in Mississauga, WAlhamdulillah. Insha Allah I’ll send you a text with my contact numbers.
May Allah SubhanahuwaTa’ala bring peace and happiness to the Muslim Ummah all over the world. May He protect and guard us from the abuse of Kuffar who like Usury/Interest and the evil eyed hypocrisy.
EID MUBARAK to all our brothers and sisters of this Dunya.
Salaams.

I’m pretty sure that is the main masjid in Casablanca Morroco, named the King Hassan II Mosque. I visited it during a study aboard.
