     Unfortunately it already happened-a girl at a college in Chicago, IL lied about being assaulted by a gunman in a public bathroom after she supposedly came across him writing anti-Muslim slurs on the bathroom wall a couple of years ago. It was an incredibly stupid thing for her to do, but there was also a lot of bigotry and hot air vented towards her by the usual media suspects too, and it was completely disproportionate to what she actually did. I wish she hadn’t of done something so wrong and stupid, but the response it generated amongst some people was just ridiculous.
     I hope no one here makes the same mistake, or reads more into the incident than is warranted. I’m not saying anyone has, I just hope it stays that way.

     That being said, what a wretched thing for this girl to do. Just gross.

   Lol, this is very common, Jews have a tendency of monopolizing sympathy. Whilst doing my grad on U.S- Israeli relations, the common theme centered on how the Jews have been victims of all the worst atrocities, hence freeing themselves from any moral or political criticism. In addition any superficial reading of early Zionist doctrines reveal that ‘the success of the Zionist enterprise depend on the support of a greater political power.’ And this is what you have today in modern ‘Anti-Semitism’ that triggers shock in the social norm and systematically amassing and securing the pity and sympathy of the majority.

   Salamualaikum,

   Nothing new from them. always expected the mockery, is the general perception from us.

   A side question, Qur’an speaks about some of the mu’mineen among them (jews). Do we know some criteria to recognize them in today’s world? ( The verse, minhumul mu’mineen wa aksaruhumul fasiqeen, i suppose)

   monopolize sympathy and leave rest for hasbara brigade…
