Syed Aamir Sharief Qadri is a writer and poet based in Kashmir. He writes in English and Urdu for daily newspapers and magazines on diverse subjects, including current issues, socio-economics, religion, politics, and literature. His work has appeared in Greater Kashmir, Rising Kashmir, Daily Excelsior, The Milli Gazette, Pakistan Observer, and Times of India (Reader's Blog), among others. With a background in history, he holds a post-graduation degree from Kashmir University and an M.Phil from Punjabi University, Patiala. An enthusiastic adventurer and passionate trekker, he runs the website www.trekmentor.in. The author has also co-authored several anthologies, including Thought for Food, The Fear in Me, and many more, contributing to a diverse range of literary works.
