THIS IS AWESOME!!!!
I read about him in Servants of Allah by Sylviane Diouf. His life was awesome and even a little tragic. It included him eventually becoming free and meeting the president.
WOW, Im watching it now and they have Diouf in there as well as Hamza Yusuf and Imam Zayd. This is really awesome. I am a little jealous that non-Muslims produced this instead of Muslims. But whatever.

The co-producer, Michael Wolfe, is Muslim. I don’t believe Alex Kronemer is.

Watching Prince Abdur Rahman speaking in front of the Black Free Masons in front of a huge masonic logo really messed me up. Aside from that.. it was great. Loved the scene where he is asked to write a prayer in Arabic (from the bible) and the writes whats later determined to be the Fathiha ! :)
