Ramadan Tid-bits / Send a Card to Muslim Prisoners… (& Your Links)

Umar has highlighted an excellent idea— a way to remember those political prisoners, by sending Ramadan and then Eid cards; brothers who are not with their families this Ramadan due to injustice and other reasons that have been discussed on these and other pages before. A small deed, with great reward inshallah. I hope that as many of us as possible act on this suggestion and cheer up our brothers in prisons regardless if you agreed with them or not or whether you believe they are unjustly accused or not. Still our brothers. I have copied the addresses from Umar below the sleeve (click continue reading). When and if you do it, let us know so this way we encourage a flood of cards!

For the month of Ramadan, Muslim Audio will be broadcasting lectures on its website to benefit everyone. Each day a new lecture CD will be playing and currently the “186 Rules of Ramadan” is being broadcasted. Another first by Muslim Audio!

You are invited to our daily breaking of fast dinner during the month of Ramadan from Sept.13– Oct.12, 2007. Please be here at 6:45pm for the dinner.

salam… A reminder for the brothers and sisters not to forget out caged prisoners… If we didn’t get them for Ramadan cards, let’s send Eid cards to them inshalah.

And if anyone has Ali Timimi’s address yet, please pass it along.
