Subhanallah, the trials (pun-intended) that this brother has gone through… unbelievable how egoistic and vengeful the DOJ can become if they don’t “get” their victim. I wonder what new plot Mukasey must be plotting to hold Arian longer.

Why he is been granted bail?? He committed the worst crimes in history of humanity. He supported vocally, coward rock throwing Palestinians over brave heavy armored fleeing Israeli oppressed soldiers. Worse he was critical of state of Israel who has never committed anything remotely wrong.

Be sure to visit Turley’s website… it has lots of pertinent information about the malicious way that the Feds are treating this case.
I found this comment quite telling (and obviously true) from a Karin Friedemann:

Maybe it’s just me. But I was curious as to why this blog puts up pics of women (muslim or not). It’s odd, bcs you gotta lower you gaze on this site too. Which sucks.
Clean up the pics MuslimMatters!!
And I’m not interested in hearing the ‘well you visit cnn.com’ blah blah. I actually visit sites with images turned off for that reason. Now i’ll have to do it for muslimmatters.

“takle”, pictures tell a thousand stories… in this case, it is to show the human/family side of Dr. Arian. Images go a long way in biasing opinions (or on this case, correcting the image of a terrorist-monster created for Al-Arian). I remember when Sh. Muhamad AlShareef’s father was taken into custody in Egypt (of course for no valid reason), images of the Shaykh’s mother and family on TV with tears or other emotions probably went a long way in creating support and empathy.
So, this picture tells a lot too. Of the trauma and heartache turned to joy for a news that may still be fleeting. We try to be as discriminating with the use of appropriate images as we can.
Now, pls focus on Br. Arian :)

Absolutely. I agree 100%. Without the pictures it just wouldn’t have the same effect.

Amad:
I see your point. Assuming this logic, it can really apply to a select few situations.
“We try to be as discriminating with the use of appropriate images as we can.” <- this is great. As long as this is the case, i’m glad. I’ll hold you to it (jk)
