Though police say all possibilities are being considered in the case of missing Kansas student Aisha Khan, her husband of five months firmly believes she was kidnapped.
“My message to the kidnapper is, let her go,” Waseem Khan told “Good Morning America” today. “You have the power to let her go and I will completely forgive you if you let her go.”
“Aisha, if you are listening to this, we love you a lot and we are doing everything to get you back home safely,” said Waseem Khan.
“I’m just hoping that the bell rings and I’ll see her and the phone rings and she’ll be right in front of my eyes,” Khan’s mother Fouzia Khan said through tears. “That’s what I’m dreaming about.”
Friends, especially in the Greater Kansas City Area, we kindly and strongly encourage you all to sacrifice your Facebook profile picture for the time being and post up Aisha’s missing person’s flier.
Keep up with the latest updates at the family’s official facebook page. The family is offering a $10,000 award for any information about this case. You can also sign a petition asking for Aishaslaw – making it mandatory that all universities and colleges have proper surveillance in order to protect the students and staff.

SubhanAllah, the comments some people have posted on news websites made me tight, people were passing comments about how she was probably executed by her father and this is a cover up of an honor killing. I just found out Aisha is a cousin of my friend, may Allah keep her safe.
We are all praying for her safe return, I can see the face of my own daughter in her. With so many people praying for her I am positive she will return safe. Inshallah. All our Masajids in Connecticut and the NewYork – New Jersey area are praying for her and the family.
If possible please keep us updated, I know it is a difficult time but if we can have the telephone number for the family so that we can show our solidarity in this time of need. Remember duas are a tool of a Momin.
While I’m happy for the family that she was found safe, I have to add that it is immature for a adult woman to lead her family, friends, community, and law enforcement to the impression that she was abducted. She owes her family and explanation.
I agree, perhaps the unexplained circumstances surrounding her disappearance are private, although I think not disclosing the reasons will do more harm than good. Alhamdullilah that she’s safe and well.
SOmething is not right with this story, The sister who was abducted, could have staged the whole thing, why is information of this story not being released ? why is there no police involved ? Many people’s time and efforts have been invested in this , it is not RIGHT ! , The family of the girl have put themselves in a very precarious position. – Firan Johra
I know you’re not supposed to have bad suspicion as a Muslim…but I knew from the beginning she was actually a run away and not abducted/kidnapped. This sort of thing happens quite a bit for Muslim girls..and most of the time
they just ran away from home with their boyfriend or freinds…so I’m not all that shocked. I know of a few cases where the exact same ordeal unfolded……
