Subhanallah,
Its amazing yet disappointing at the same time to see non-muslims take such an active stance against oppression while the Muslim and Arab leaders (except Erdogan) sit on the sidelines and do nothing.
May Allah guide George Galloway to the straight path.

I do find it strange that as soon as a non-Muslim does something that Muslims should be doing such as acts of charity, courage, leadership, caring, and defiance of tyranny etc., we all start shouting ‘May Allah guide him to be a Muslim’ instead of ‘May Allah guide all Muslims and Muslim leaders to act like him”.
Are we ever going to be introspective? Do we not have any sense of shame at our own cowardice, laziness, political and social apathy, communal injustice, and unwillingness to stand up to falsehood and oppression? Are we so decieved by two statements that we utter from the tongue and a few religious rituals that we perform? What Islam are we so proud of that Galloway should accept?
Isn’t it obvious that when the truth is presented to men of courage, character, and integrity, their fitra readily accepts it? If Galloway has not accepted Islam yet it is because it has not been presented to him – because he has NOT seen it anywhere, in the UK or in the Muslim countires.
Shame on us all!

Re: comments about Mr Galloway’s beliefs.
I had the honour and pleasure of meeting him again today, at the departure of the aid convoy from London. I didn’t speak to him much, but observed him from a close distance while I was capturing some “B-roll”, as the film peeps call it . I know I don’t have the ability to read hearts, but I see something in him… Allahu ‘alam. He spends so much time with Muslims, including imams and speakers, so I think the “no-one has yet given him proper da’wah” excuse is not fitting.
Seeing him in the presence of other Muslims today, he looked so comfortable, and there was real love and affection there. I obviously can’t speak on his behalf. His deen is between him and Allah; not even his children or wife can intercede for him in this respect.
Anyway, I pray for him, and all the people on the convoy. May Allah grant them peace, security and success, Ameen!

Issues We Forget
In this world we are blind
When truth turns into a crime
The guilt we fear is always there
No matter what we try to do
We cannot hide the truth
Its an issue of morality
Bound by humanity
Sprung out of reality
The facts are there for all to see
That justice does at times mislead
The crime which ought not to be turns into humility
A murder in the first degree is surely not the quest we seek
Why is truth such a crime hidden behind every line
In the eyes of such crime the world has surely gone blind
Issues we forget to see
Is HONESTY the BEST POLICY !
