assalamualaikum,
he seems to be such a nice brother, at least in his speech and thought, why does imran khan refer him as pakistani terrorist?

Walaikumsalaam warahmatullah,
lol! Ever since I first heard Br. Altaf Hussain (pictured above) speak at ICNA this past July, I’ve wanted to sympathize at him having the same name as a umm… a political figure Altaf Hussain in Pakistan.

I consider Altaf Hussain my ‘long lost twin brother’ :)
I’ve been mistaken for him at quite a few conferences…

If the Pakistani-terrorist Altaf Hussain was 1/10 as nice and 1/10 as ethical 1/10 as sincere as the American Altaf Hussain, there would be cause for celebration!

You both (YQ and Altaf) look as alike to the BAMs as Imam Siraj and Imam Johari look alike to non-BAMs!

Allahu Akbar, Imam Joharis words really hit home: “tell them: my brother were here before your brothers, before your mothers and fathers.” This is a really phenomenal interview. JazakomAllahu kheiran!

Very nice interviews. I like what MM is doing, ma sha Allah.
On another note, we need Amad to do an interview. We want to hear your voice! :)

I hope you guys do this for TDC & RIS. Living where I do means I just get to hear tidbits about it. I would love to have videos/pics/articles about the event. (…and please do not release the videos 1 month later when all the buzz has died down).

Osman, inshallah, there are plans for TDC. None of us are going to RIS (because almost all of us are going to be down South).
It’s all Saqib for TDC :)

bismillah. mashaAllah! qadarAllahi wa maa shaa’a fa’ala. first i miss ilm quest (‘ilman tayyiban), now i miss MANA (amalan mutaqabbalan)! ya laytanee… inna lilaahi wa inna alayhi rajioon. Allahumma’-jurni fee museebatee wa ‘akhliflee khayran minhaa.
seriously, it feels like a tragedy to miss such opportunities for goodness. so i pray Allah will give me better, inshaAllah. :)
the advice and prayer of Imam Johari in the last minute and a half of that video is a must see! watch it again. i did. mashaAllah. and ameen to his duas.

Subhan’Allah, Imam Johari hit it on point about the “Gujurati Bubble”
However, in my experience, most children of immigrants (that are born here) fall into the bubble…
Kind of like going to NY and Chicago among other places. People still living in their tribal bubbles to hold on to comfortability.

Abu AbdAllah, I think you mean Ilm Fest (or Ilm Summit?) : ) Ilm Quest is a CD company.
Many ilms mashaAllah.
