New Guest Writer: Nouman Ali Khan!

As many of you heard on the conference call already, MuslimMatters is pleased to announce its newest guest writer, Nouman Ali Khan of the Bayyinah Institute. Bayyinah Institute for Arabic studies has a large student body throughout North America. Br. Nouman's Fundamentals of Classical Arabic class has been taught in over 30 cities in North America alḥamdulillāh.

Nouman currently serves as professor of Arabic at Nassau Community College and has taught Modern Standard and Classical Arabic at various venues for nearly 6 years with over 700 students. His handbook published by the Bayyinah Arabic Studies Institute for ARA-201 is also being used as a class aide at the Jaamiah-Al-Uloom Al-Islamiyyah, Institute of Islamic Education in Ajax, Canada.

As many of his students can attest to, Br. Nouman brings a unique flavor of Tafseer and Arabic grammar to the English speaking audience. His classes give us glimpses into many of the linguistic miracles of the Quran – a taste of which you can find here.
