Shucks.
I guess I am out of luck if Romney becomes Prez. I was really looking forward to that comfy advisory position :(

Along the same lines of Amad’s comment,
Why in the world would any Muslim want to be in Mitt Romney’s cabinet?

thanks “…”
I’d like the homeland security and secretary of state positions (i think i can handle both).
I will then use my secret powers of the Patriot act to lock up all the right-wing neocon nut-jobs for treason and sedition. Then I’ll ship them for a long vacation to Guantanamo, only of course after a short extraordinary rendition trip to one of Putin’s cell for interrogation. No torture of course, I promise they will keep all their limbs in tact.
Once back, I’ll deny them habeas and tell them to prove their innocence (not for me to prove their guilt of course). Of course they won’t have access to any of the evidence against them (too important for national security). So, if they are REALLY innocent, they can prove so.
After that, I’ll make peace in the middle east. I can’t disclose the rest of my plan in case someone decent steals it.
Then i’ll wake up.

So, MR, what would you do as a DOT czar?
Akhi Musa, how would “regulate” polygamy?

Why aren’t we using our energy to promote positive changes by calling people to Ron Paul? I can understand calling away from Giuliani, or Romney, or anyone else, but we have to give people some hope with the bad news.

This is a great contradiction you brought to light br. Amad. Somebody needs to present this to Mitt in his next debate or town hall meeting. I would love to hear his response.

Romney doesn’t like us because our religion limits a man to just four wives :)

I’m more intrigued by Ahmad Ijaz and his negotiating prowess in counter terrorism. Who is he and how did he gain such influence?

“Violent radical Islam seeks to destroy us.”

did everyone see this on youtube (from SNL):
Romney ad becomes parody of itself
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoU41UwL5LI
Basically, Mitt put out a campaign video saying how “violent radical islamic fundamentalists” need to destroy “freedom loving nations like our own” in order to “unite the globe under a single jihadist caliphate.”
So SNL took his campaign video, added a laugh track to it, and his own campaign video became a parody of itself (just shows how ridiculous this guy is).
By the way, for those of you who are unaware, when Mitt was gov. of Mass., he publicly advocated for placing microphones is all mosques in the state. This guy is a loon!

We already have microphones in all the masjids…and not very good ones. Did he mean that he would us new ones, so you can understand what the khateeb is ranting about.

Also, on the issue of “religion determining eligibility for public positions,” I’m not sure “flip-flopping” is the right word here… I think a more accurate description would be “outright hypocrisy” :)
(seriously though… flip-flopping would be if he had one position on the matter at one point, then changed his position at a later time out of convenience… in this case, he actually didn’t change any position… he is just hypocritical in his claim that “a person should not be elected because of his faith, nor should he be rejected because of his faith” becaues he doesn’t apply this to Muslims).

I would’ve said: bring on the microphones! And please let us have copies of the tapes! :p

As the DOT czar, I would promote the use of fuel-efficient vehicles and promote more research in hybrid technologies. Then I would make DOUBLE DECKER HIGHYWAYS in all the major traffic jam zones across the country.
