This just tears your heart up- May Allah bring these people shifa and healing and peace, and ease after their hardship.
Is there some way for people in the UAE to donate?
JazakAllahuKheiran!

Here you go, you can donate to this organisation – the Pakistan Association of Dubai. They’re requesting funds for the flood relief. They also accept non-perishable food items, dates, medicines, clothes, et al.

Also, the NGO Shelter in Al Quoz were also sending supplies. They had the first shipment a few weeks ago. You can call them – they might have more lined up. Ph # 04 434 5655.

You can give to any reputable charity… here’s the original post we did on charities:
You’ll find a list of suggested charities, Insha’Allah. http://muslimmatters.org/2010/08/13/action-alert-fundraising-appeal-for-pakistan-floods/
Do contribute and encourage your friends! You can also contact http://twitter.com/hamna_ for details – I know she lives in the UAE and was collecting funds.

This is really an effective video masha’Allah – informative and very touching. It makes the viewer
want to take massive action. May Allah reward all those who are leading this Islamic Relief.
Insha’Allah we can all give generously to help our brothers and sisters in Pakistan.

You’ll have to check with your local charities or check out charities online, some of which we have listed here: http://muslimmatters.org/2010/08/13/action-alert-fundraising-appeal-for-pakistan-floods/
