Dr. Mehzabeen b. Ibrahim (iMuslim)

Dr Mehzabeen b. Ibrahim joined MuslimMatters as a blogger in late 2007 under the handle 'iMuslim', whilst still a struggling grad student. There seems to be a problem in displaying the twitpics… They keep appearing and disappearing! if you don’t see them in this page, click the links, and you should see the originals, insha’Allah.

I just came to know about your posting these pictures, iMuslim. :) Alhamdulillah for the da’wah potential of twitter.
I can’t help but be amazed at the sadaqah-e-jaariyah for this boy who had no clue that I had snapped his photo while he prayed. He is an employee at the mall where I was when I took this picture.
We (my mother and I) prayed Dhuhr outside near the parking lot. Sadly, its one of the biggest malls in the city (“The Forum”), but it still doesn’t have any room or area designated for women to pray. It has an Apple store (and Nike, etc.) in it. Quite an upscale kind of place.
As I was finishing my prayer, I noticed that he was the first man to come outside to pray. He looked like a young teen, and I was inspired by how he came out to pray before the older men, at the earliest time of Dhuhr.
Subhan Allah, how Allah makes one person’s good actions an inspiration for others all over the world, and he or she doesn’t even know. :)
