Extremes reduce Islam to a set of rituals that are divorced from our society. This TDC, Shaykh Mohammed Elshinawy’s session is dedicated to answering the question of how to strike a balanced approach between maintaining our compassion for others and staying true to our tradition.

Mohammed Elshinawy is a research fellow at Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, as well as a translator for AMJA (Assembly of Muslims Jurists of America) and others.
