Ma sha Allah, its great to see MM promote real respect and unity, with wisdom and good manners. We all know of the differences, but we still unite in Islamic brotherhood.

I would like to sincerely thank both MM and Imam Zaid Shakir for this video. Imam Zaid is a truly charismatic speaker AND an excellent writer. May Allah [swt] reward Imam Zaid for his brotherly words.
MM: You guys have truly emerged as one of the authoritative voices of the mainstream body of Muslims in America. It is only with such a methodology–in tune with the very specific realities of the situation of the Muslims in the West–that Ahl at-Tawheed can bring about great benefit to all…not through isolationism and partisanship. May Allah [swt] reward you all.

Imam Zaid Shakir was visiting Dallas back in March for the launch and fundraiser of a new school. This clip was filmed at the actual event after his speech.
