If CAIR Only Helped in This One Process for the Entire Year…

Published

They would be worth every bit of our support. This follows my appeal for CAIR membership after the WT hit-piece (WT then also included the smear campaign of the white supremacists organization in their magazine, as Tariq writes below). So, what did CAIR help with:

CAIR HELPS REUNITE VA MUSLIM FAMILY

(HERNDON, VA, 6/15/07) – A 3-year-old Muslim toddler will (inshallah) be reunited with his family after intervention by CAIR’s Maryland and Virginia chapter (CAIR-MD/VA). On Tuesday, June 12, CAIR-MD/VA called on immigration officials to explain why the child of a Virginia father who is a U.S. citizen and a mother who is a permanent resident has been denied entry to this country for two years. Cute kid. Although the USCIS won’t comment on the cause for the delay, I find CAIR’s explanation of a mix-up in names quite believable. Two years, however, is an unacceptably long time for these matters to get straightened out. I’m surprised the Boujrads didn’t try pushing hard even sooner.

I am not entirely surprised either. My son whose name is Abdullah was (not sure if he still is) on the ‘watch-list’… couldn’t print boarding passes, etc. He garnered this achievement at the tender age of 4. He is known to have great plastic sword-fighting and toy-gun toting skills. Somehow his reputation must have preceded him :)
