Allah, The Compassionate and Gentle

Although I may vanish, the Compassion of the Most Gentle will remain.
My hope in Him continues without fail.

I turn to Him for security during an era wherein the body fails in frailty.

In all circumstances I send my petition to the One who quells the heart with tranquility.

Innumerable are facilitations of ease He Decrees. Many concealed in fate that remains Unseen.

Secretly, beyond our realm, but already decreed by He who Alone can alleviate our calamities.

His Generosity arrives subtly, providing relief from depressing adversity.

Whose door is there for me to knock but Allah's Door? No Master to rival Him or deserve my adoration!

Unceasing in Benevolent, Bountiful Generosity. Exquisitely Divine, answering the petitioner and concealing the wayward.

Enduring is He, never hasty in punishing the Delinquent. Rather His Compassion rains upon us gracefully.

O King of kings, accept my petition for pardon; my sins have cast me so far away from You.

My sinful impulses have ailed me, and none can heal me but You.

Comfort me, My Lord and shield me from envious eyes that pierce like rabid fangs.

My Lord, secure me with the joys of children and the love of family. Without them a man is incomplete and estranged.

Ah, my young children, oh how I fret for them and their fate. Worn out from concern, my strength dissipates.

But to You I submit the reigns of my life. To You, the One who handles with majestic splendor, all affairs.

The Lord of Mercy, my refuge and pillar of support, on whom I place all my reliance, calling out to Him alone.

O Allah, my Condition is known to You, my Master. Is relief near?

O Master of Judgment Day, relieve my unrelenting anxiety that in my heart sinks ever deeper.

And bind me to the rope of thy content, and turn thy Face to me and accept me so that I may repent and return wholly to thee.

I beg for Your shelter and seek You as my Victor and strength when necessity strikes.

Let Thy remembrance illuminate my being, indeed, uttering your remembrance sweets existence.

And say of me that I am still thy servant lavishing in thy Kindness, drawing nearer to thee, no longer distant.

My hope in You, my Sustainer, is complete like fertile meadows, fragrant ready for harvest.

And send prayers and praises upon the Prophet and his family, for whom the nightingales from their branches sing their sweet melody.
