This entry was motivated by Br. Tariq Nelson’s great find on Temple’s Germantown project. The “Philly Salafis” have been much maligned (and rightfully so in many cases) for social problems. But, at the same time, we failed to mention their achievements, their effect on their neighborhood, their dawah and consequent reversion of many non-Muslims, etc. The fact that this little endorsement comes from non-Muslims says a lot about them.
Anyone who is missing out on this Arabic gem, is really missing out!
