Sufian Musab Ahmed was born and raised in Oslo, Norway. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, and a diploma in Classical Arabic from the Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman, Jordan.
An open exploration of agnosticism, Buddhism, and Christianity eventually led him, in his early twenties, to conclude that Islam is the truth. In order to understand Islam as a lived religion, he later moved to Egypt, Indonesia, and Jordan. Sufian currently teaches Arabic at Alif Institute (alifinstitutt.no), which he founded himself. He regularly serves as a khatīb at Madina Institute. In 2026, he published the book Truth vs. Preference: A Brief Introduction to Islam. He is currently completing his Alimiyyah studies at Al-Salam Institute.
