SubHaanAllah, this is embarrassing, we ask Allah to guide this brother and to teach us the true reality of Imam Al-Mahdi. This incident is no joke, it’s a very serious matter so we should try not to joke about it and instead make dua and seek refuge from such things.

We also need our sheikhs and Imams to teach this subject much more seriously and indepth so that we can all be saved from falling into this trap which the shaytaan can use against any of us, even bringing to us someone with almost all the descriptions of Imam Mahdi. This happened to a group in Saudi Arabia years ago and it ended in a blood bath with the claimant and his followers mostly being killed.

      May Allah protect us.

    Assalamu alaykum,

I laughed, but yes, it is a serious matter. It may have been mor appropriate to cry.

May Allah guide us all, and cause us to deserve the leadership of Al-Mahdi. May allah send to us Al-mahdi and Al-Mahsih soon.

In regards to the topic of Al-Mahdi, sheikh Yasir qadhi has and acxcelent cd set out on the topic.

Are you sure that’s something you want to ask for? Because those who will receive Isa a.s. would definitely be the ones tried with the dajjal….. and I don’t want to be exposed to the dajjal….. just a thought…

Interestingly enough, there was a guy who preceded him, Mirza Ghulam Ahmed, who was 2 in 1. Mehdi and Isa (AS)… and look how many people actually follow this charlatan!

Don’t be surprised if this new Mr. Desi Mahdi forms a reasonable following!

Why do we have such an issue with Ahmadiyyas..and how can u call him charlatan.. Of all the people u?

Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) is the last and final Prophet sent to mankind. this is supported by both evidence in the Quran and Authentic Hadeeth. No we are not God’s children. we are his creation and his servants. Ghulam Mirza of Qadian is a heretic! a major liar who has misguided millions of people to follow a path of kufr(disbelief). he died a shameful death as well. his claims are completely contrary to Islam. your lack of knowledge of even the basic principles of Islam shows you need to learn more of the religion. May Allah(God) save us from the path of misguidance. Ameen

Fraaz indeed you need to learn about the true teachings of Islam, please dont make the same accusations as your Mullahs, have you ever read the books of the Promised Messiah (as) in eighter Urdu or Arabic? he died a natural death and he died in his bed, so how is this shameful? all his techings were in line with the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the autentic hadith. please study Islam. So Fraaz let me ask you a simple question will there be a Prophet after the Holy Prophet (saw) YES or NO.

To believe there is a prophet/messenger after Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn AbdulMuttalib al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi is to take oneself out of Islam.

May the curse of Allah be forever on every last dajjal and may the ignorant be guided back to Islam.

following link is a lecture about Imam Mahdi

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3nP1e6lJbQ

Jesus son of Mary would then descend and their (Muslims’) commander would invite him to come and lead them in prayer, but he would say: No, some amongst you are commanders over some (amongst you). This is the honour from Allah for this Ummah. (Sahih Muslim, Book 001, Number 0293)
How can a community be eliminated, when there is first me [the Prophet Muhammad (saas)], Isa’ (as) son of Maryam at the end, and the Mahdi, one of my line, between us? (Jalaladdin as-Suyuti, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman, Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, p. 78)
The Mahdi is one of this community and will serve as imam to the Prophet ‘Isa (as). (Jalaladdin as-Suyuti, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman, Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, p. 79)

First of all, Khalid is not spelled s Kahlid… is that a special qadiani version??

Secondly, Mirza Ghulam Ahmed is spelled as Mirza Imposter Ahmed, the dajjal of the 20th century.

Pls see http://thecult.info/ to understand more about this modern-day cult. It is amazing for someone to believe in the story of the man who famously claimed:

[…] The service that has been rendered on my part, in favour of the English government is that I have published fifty thousand books, magazines and posters and distributed them in this and other Islamic countries […] It is as a result of my endeavors that thousands of people have given up thoughts of Jihad which had been propounded by ill-witted mullahs and embedded in the minds of the people. I can rightly feel proud of this that no other Muslim in British India can equal me in this respect […]

        [See more here]

Could a true messiah be so utterly weak and cowardly? And where is the victory that Muslims will be lead by the messiah in?

I find it utterly perplexing for any man with the slightest intelligence to believe in Ghulam Ahmed. But then again some still worship statues.

“I find it utterly perplexing for any man with the slightest intelligence to believe in Ghulam Ahmed.”

I also find it utterly perplexing for any man/woman with the slightest intelligence to believe in a prophet of Allah (ie: Jesus pbuh) residing in the clouds for hundreds of thousands of years, only to descend on a fire-breathing horse to shed the blood of every last swine and cross-bearing man/woman and hence, claiming victory for Islam. Takbeer.

But then again, some people will believe anything. :)

Yes the same people who believe in angels, jinns, the Prophet’s Journey to Heaven, Allah Himself, His Throne, Jannah and Naar… all unseen.

For you to even go on this tangent proves you are utterly clueless about belief in the unseen.

We SAW Ghulam Ahmed. And anyone who SAW and READS what he preached know that he was imposter. And one has to go no far than this statement, which no messenger or prophet or wali of Allah would ever make:

[…] The service that has been rendered on my part, in favour of the English government is that I have published fifty thousand books, magazines and posters and distributed them in this and other Islamic countries […] It is as a result of my endeavors that thousands of people have given up thoughts of Jihad which had been propounded by ill-witted mullahs and embedded in the minds of the people. I can rightly feel proud of this that no other Muslim in British India can equal me in this respect […]

Reality is very clear; the prophecies regarding the messiah has not occured. also the ahadith are very clear and it proves that the messiah isa ibn maryam (as) is different from Imam Mahdi.

            did mirza ghulam (who claimed to be the spirit of krishna and budda and who dies a disgraceful death” who claim to the messiah;
            kill the dajjal in palestine?
            perform salah in sham?
            perform hajj and umrah?
            is he buried in madina?

again did mirza ghulam who claim to be imam mahdi:
            be given bay’at in makkah?
            pray salah in sham?
is he descendant of fatima bint muhammad?
            is his father’s name abdullah?
            is he buried in jerusalem?

clearly the above prophetic signs have not occured yet. thus Imam mahdi has not come yet.

i would like to emphasise the prophetic signs that have not yet occured:

imam mahdi will come to makkah from madina and be given bay’at in makkah [bukhari and muslim]

imam madhi will be from ahle bayt — through hasan ibn ali [musnad ahmad, abu dawud – book of mahdi and ibn majah – last volume]

imam mahdi will be caliph for 7 years and the he wll be just ruler [abu dawud – book of mahdi]

imam mahdi’s father’s name will be abdullah; same name as the father of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) [abu dawud]

the corrupt members of bani kalb will try to kill imam mahdi [bukhari and muslim, abu dawud – kitab al-mahdi]

imam mahdi will pray in jerusalem and when he passes away he will be buried in bayt al quds [musnad ahmad and ibn hajr]

the prophet (saw) said “there will be a time when the arabs will be ruled by mahdi who is from my progeny.” [abu dawud]

regarding the messiah isa ibn maryam:

he will pray salah in ash-sham [bukhari and muslim and musnad ahmad]

isa will defeat the dajjal in ludd (palestine) [musnad ahmad, bukhari and ibn majah]

when isa (as) is back he will stay for 40 years then pass away and be buried in madina [bukhari]

isa ibn maryam will perform hajj and umra [bukhari and muslim]

hajj and umra is act of worship hence there is no room for metaphorical interpretation.
historicall fact — no one who claimed to be the messiah has performed hajj yet. this is a great sign

my previous comments contain ahadith and athar that prove the difference between imam mahdi Muhammad ibn Abdullah and the messiah Isa ibn maryam (peace be upon them both).

below is a link of a talk about imam Mahdi

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oCf7ae__kk

below is a pdf file of a book written by ibn kathir that has information about Imam Mahdi and the messiah isa ibn maryam. page 50 is the chapter of imam mahdi.

            http://www.kalamullah.com/Books/Book%20Of%20The%20End.pdf

            to summarise the difference between imam mahdi and the messiah isa ibn maryam;

Imam Mahdi will be from ahle bayt hence he will be from the progeny of Ismail (as) [abu dawud – book on imam mahdi] .
But the messiah isa ibn maryam is from bani israil hence from the progeny of Ya’qub ibn Ishaq (as).

Imam mahdi’s father name will be Abdullah which is the same name of the prophet’s father. [ibn majah]
But the messiah isa ibn maryam has no father.

the messiah isa ibn maryam was born in ash-sham [ibn kathir – the beginning and the end]
but Imam Mahdi will be born in madina. The 4th caliph ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib [radhiyallahu ‘anhu] reported that the Prophet [sallallahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam] said; “Imam Mahdi will be born in al-Madinah, from the household of the Prophet.” [abu nu’aym and tabarani]

Imam mahdi will be buried in jerusalem [tabarani and abu nu’aym]
but the messiah isa will be buried in madina [bukhari and muslim]

Ibn ‘Abbas [radhiyallahu ‘anhuma] reported that the holy Prophet [sallallahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam] said:

“The Mahdi is from us; he will be caliph for 7 years then he will hand over the rule to ‘Isa ibn Maryam [‘alayhis-salam] when Imam Mahdi passes away in bayt al quds.” [abu nu’aym who is the teacher of imam bukhari]

i would like to conclude with a hadith which states that isa ibn maryam will pray behind Imam Mahdi hence clearly proving that Imam Mahdi is different from the messiah isa ibn maryam.

And Abu ‘Amr ad-Dani narrated in his Sunan from Hudhayfah [radhiyallahu ‘anhu] that he said: The Messenger of Allah [sallallahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam] said:

“Imam Mahdi will be ready to lead salah is ash sham and he will find that ‘Isa ibn Maryam has descended from the sky in two garments, as if water is dripping from his head. The imam Mahdi will say to isa: “Come forward and lead the people in the prayer.” So ‘Isa will say to Imam Mahdi: “The prayer was established only for you.” So ‘Isa will pray behind Imam Mahdi.” [abu nu’aym, tabarani and suyuti akhbar al mahdi]

“And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or says, “It has been inspired to me,” while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, “I will reveal [something] like what Allah revealed.” And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands, [saying], “Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant.” [quran ch 6 vs 93]

“Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.” [ch 3 vs 8]

the classical scholars of ahle sunnah such as tabari, qurtubi, abu dawud, ibn hajr, nawawi, ibn taymiya and ibn kathir agreed that Isa ibn Maryam was raised up alive and during the end of time he will return.

Abu Hurairah and Ibbn Abbas said that the prophet said; “Allah raised isa ibn maryam unto Himself…” [Tafsir tabari & qurtubi]

Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Ibn `Abbas said, “Just before Allah raised `Isa to the heavens, `Isa went to his companions, who were twelve inside the house. When he arrived, his hair was dripping water and he said, `There are those among you who will disbelieve in me twelve times after he had believed in me.’ He then asked, `Who volunteers that his image appear as mine, and be killed in my place. He will be with me (in Paradise)’ One of the youngest ones among them volunteered and `Isa asked him to sit down. `Isa again asked for a volunteer, and the young man kept volunteering and `Isa asking him to sit down. Then the young man volunteered again and `Isa said, `You will be that man,’ and the resemblance of `Isa was cast over that man while `Isa ascended to heaven from a hole in the house. When the Jews came looking for `Isa, they found that young man and crucified him. Some of `Isa’s followers disbelieved in him twelve times after they had believed in him. They then divided into three groups. One group, Al-Ya`qubiyyah (Jacobites), said, `Allah remained with us as long as He willed and then ascended to heaven.’ Another group, An-Nasturiyyah (Nestorians), said, `The son of Allah was with us as long as he willed and Allah took him to heaven.’ Another group, Muslims, said, `The servant and Messenger of Allah remained with us as long as Allah willed, and Allah then took him to Him.’ The two disbelieving groups cooperated against the Muslim group and they killed them. Ever since that happened, Islam was then veiled until Allah sent Muhammad.” [Tafsir Ibn Kathir and sunan an nasa’i]

      http://www.qtafsir.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=585&Itemid=59
Many among the classical scholars stated that `Isa asked if someone would volunteer for his appearance to be cast over him, and that he will be killed instead of `Isa, for which he would be his companion in Paradise. [ibn kathir]

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported that the prophet said; “On the night of ascension, I met Ibraheem, Musa and Isa ibn Maryam. They spoke about the hour, Isa ibn maryam said only Alllah knows when it will happen. But i have been given tasks before the hour. i will descend and judge by the quran and sunnah. I will kill dajjal in ludd and show his blood to the muslims on my sword. then soon after gog and magog will emerge causing corruption on the land. I and a group of muslims will do dua to Allah and Allah will destroy gog and magog……” [musnad ahmad]

Isa ibn maryam is the same messiah that was sent to banu israel, he will come back. there is no 2 messiahs.

isa will kill dajjal in ludd which is in palestine. dajjal’s blood will b shown to the people to prove that dajjal is not divine.

According to authentic ahadith; the prophet (pbuh) said that dajjal is a human being born to jewish parents. Not the church as some people claim.
According to the understanding of the sahaba and early scholars; they clearly stated that dajjal is a human being but he will be decieving many people.

Abu Sa’id reported: I accompanied Ibn Sayyad to Mecca and he said to me: i will report to you what the prophet said about dajjal — Have you not heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace upon him) as saying: He (dajjal) will have no no children, I said: Yes, of course. Have you not heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He would not enter Mecca and Medina? I said: Yes, of course. And Isa (pbuh) will slay him in palestine. [sahih muslim – book of tribulations]

      http://www.jesuswillreturn.com/s1_4.html

its clear that the early scholars of Islam and the congregation of the 1st 4 muslim generations beleived in the school of ahle sunnah. the 4 main jurists, the 6 main hadith compilers, the 10 qaris and the reformers of each early muslim ummah followed the belief of ahle sunnah.

      reformers of early generations;
      1st century — Ibn Abbas
      2nd century — Imam Shafi
      3rd century — bukhari
      4th — hakim
      5th – Muhammad al ghazali
      6th — ibn qudamah
      7th — ibn taymiya
      8th- ibn hajr
      9th — suyuti
10th – Shaykh Shihabud-Din Ahmad Ibn Muhammad (Ibn Hajar al-Haytami)
      11th – Muhammad Shawkani

[15] And Abu Dawud and Nu’aym ibn Hammad in al-Fitan, narrated from ‘Ali [radhiyallahu ‘anhu] that he looked at his son al-Hasan [radhiyallahu ‘anhu] and said:

“This son of mine is a sayyid [chief], as the Prophet [sallallahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam] called him, and from his loins shall come a man with the same name as your Prophet [sallallahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam], who resembles him in his behaviour but not in his appearance.”

[65] Ibn Hibban and Abu Nu’aym narrated from Abu Sa’id [radhiyallahu ‘anhu] that he said: The Messenger of Allah [sallallahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam] said:

“‘Isa ibn Maryam will descend, and their amir the Mahdi will say: “Come, lead us in the prayer.” So isa will say: “No the prayer was called for you to lead. Indeed, some of you are leaders over others, an honour for this Ummah.”
[72] And Ibn Abi Shaybah narrated from Ibn Sirin that he said:

“The Mahdi is from this Ummah, and he is the one who will lead ‘Isa ibn Maryam in the prayer.”

[167] And he also narrated from Abu Hurayrah [radhiyallahu ‘anhu] that he said:

“The Mahdi will be given the bay’ah between ar-Rukn and al-Maqam.
[196] And abu nu’aym also narrated from Artah that he said:

“The Mahdi will settle in Bayt al-Maqdis, then after him the caliphate will be given to the messiah isa ibn maryam. “

the narration were taken from imam suyuti – akhbar al mahdi

    salams,
i still don’t know why this was posted here- to have a good laugh at a brother who obviously lost some of his marbles – or at shi’ites?
I do feel rather uncomfortable about it, and the vdo made me more cringe than laugh. I was rather disappointed that it was posted here. We have to remember that we have to cover one’s faults, not have a good laugh about it, that’s how I see it in particular if it’s a muslim. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a good laugh or joke, but laughing about someone, in particular if it’s a brother who needs help? What if that was your own father or uncle?

Possession of the ability to speak Arabic is a necessary but not sufficient condition for the mahdi. By your reasoning, there would be more than 200 million mahdis in the world!

The Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam said in an authentic hadeeth: “There is no prophet after me.”

Mahdi will be caliph for 7 years [ibn majah]
the arabs will elect Imam Mahdi as their ruler [abu dawud]
Mahdi will be given bay’at in makkah [bukhari]
Imam Mahdi will establish salah in the 3 sacred cities of Islam [musnad ahmad]
Another undeniable fact is that many leading Muslim scholars have written books after books exclusively about Imam al-Mahdi (AS) which I included some of their names at the end of this article.
the prophet (saw) always referred to the messiah as isa ibn maryam hence isa (as) is the same messiah that was sent to banu israel who recieved the injeel.
Notice the prophet (saw) said that isa ibn maryam will descesnd and rule by the Quran and not the Injeel. [bukhari and muslim] this again proves that isa ibn maryam will come back.
Reminder of the prophetic signs regarding the return of masih isa ibn maryam (as):
isa ibn maryam (as) will descend onto a white minerat in eastern damascus [tafsir Ibn kathir]
Isa (as) will perform salah in Ash Sham (musnad Ahmad — reported by Abdullah ibn Mas’ud]
Isa ibn maryam will defeat the dajjal in ludd which is in palestine and show the blood of dajjal on his sword to the people [bukhari and muslim]
Isa ibn maryam will perform hajj and umra [ibn majah]
when isa passes away he will be buried in madina [Bukhari]

The following are only some of the traditions about Imam al-Mahdi which Muslims admit to their authenticity and existence:
The Prophet (PBUH) said: “Even if the entire duration of the world’s existence has already been exhausted and only one day is left (before the day of judgment), Allah will expand that day to such a length of time, as to accommodate the kingdom of a person from my Ahlul-Bayt who will be called by my name. He will fill out the earth with peace and justice as it will have been full of injustice and tyranny (by then).”
      Sunni References:
      • Sahih al-Tirmidhi, v2, p86, v9, pp 74-75
      • Sunan Abu Dawud, v2, p7
      • Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, v1, pp 84,376; V3, p63
Nuaim bin Hammad narrates based on Ali bin Abi Talib (r.a.) that the Mahdi (Mehdi) will be born in Medina.
The Prophet (PBUH&HF) said: “al-Mahdi is one of us, the members of the household (Ahlul-Bayt).”
Sunni reference: Sunan Ibn Majah, v2, Tradition #4085
It is narrated in Sahih Muslim that:
Jabir Ibn Abdillah al-Ansari (RA) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: “A group of my Ummah will strive for the truth until near the day of judgment when Jesus, the son of Mary, will descend, and the leader of them will ask him to lead the prayer, but Jesus declines, saying: “No, Verily, among you Allah has made leaders for others and He has bestowed his bounty upon them.”
      Sunni reference:
      • Sahih Muslim, Arabic, part 2, p193
      • Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, v3, pp 45,384
      • al-Sawa’iq al-Muhriqah, by Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Ch. 11, section 1, p251
      • Nuzool Isa Ibn Maryam Akhir al-Zaman, by Jalaluddin al-Suyuti, p57
      • Musnad, by Abu Ya’ala which provides another version of the tradition with more clear words on the authority of Jabir that the Messenger of Allah said: “A group among my Ummah will continue to strive for the truth until Jesus, the son of Mary, will descend, and the Imam of them will ask him to lead the prayer, but Jesus replies: “You have more right to it, and verily Allah has honoured some of you over others in this Ummah.”
      • Sahih Ibn Habban, whose tradition reads: “their leader al-Mahdi” and the rest of tradition is the same.
So if al-Mahdi and Jesus are to be the same person as some ignorant claim, then how can one prays behind himself?! Moreover this shows that Imam al-Mahdi will come before the return of Jesus (the Messiah).
I should point out that, there exists a very weak report with disconnected chain of narrators that allegedly states al-Mahdi and Jesus are the same. The tradition in ibn majah states: “And no Mahdi except Jesus.” This tradition has been rated by Ibn majah as weak (daif) and al-Hakim as unknown and strange and he said there are discrepancy in its chain of authorities. al-Bayhaqi said Muhammad Ibn Khalid said this tradition is single (Mufrad). al-Nisa’i has mentioned that this tradition is unfamiliar and is denied, and that the memorizers of traditions confirm that the traditions which state that al-Mahdi is the descendants of Fatimah are authentic and reliable. (See al-Sawa’iq al-Muhriqah, Ch. 11, section 1, p252 for details).
Reminder of the prophetic signs regarding the return of masih isa ibn maryam (as):
isa (as) will descend onto a white minerat in eastern damascus [tafsir Ibn kathir]
Now to emphasise the clear difference between imam mahdi and isa ibn maryam:
imam mahdi is from ahle bayt while isa ibn maryam is from banu israil
Imam mahdi will be caliph for 7 years. But when isa ibn maryam returns his time will be for 40 years [musnad ahmad]
imam mahdi’s father’s name will be abdullah whcih is the same as the father’s name of prophet Muhammad (saw) [ibn majah and abu dawud]
But isa ibn maryam (as) has no father as mentioned in the Quran (ch 3, 4 and 19) and ahadith.
Imam mahdi (as) is from the progeny of prophet Muhammad (saw) who is from the progeny of prophet ismail (as).
but isa ibn maryam (as) is not from the progeny of muhammad (saw) but rather from the progeny of prophet Ya’qub (as) hence isa is from amongst bani israil. Israil is another name for the prophet Ya’qub ibn Ishaq ibn Ibraheem (as).
When Imam mahdi (as) passes away he will be buried in bayt al quds — jerusalem [musnad ahmad]
but when isa ibn maryam (as) passes away he will be buried in madina [bukhari and muslim]

The Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam said in an authentic hadeeth: “There is no prophet after me.”

If you read a bit further, this same authentic hadeeth also relates..”and there will be no mosque after my mosque.”

Would you like to clarify what the Prophet (saw) meant by this then? Are you indicating that all mosques built after those in the time of Muhammad (saw) are nauthubillah “false?” If taken in the literal sense (as most of the Ummah today sadly does), they would be, wouldn’t they? And what, therefore, would that make the millions worshipping in these false mosques?

Listen, there are countless proofs for the Prophet Mohammed being seal of all prophets, and the FINAL prophet. The ummah is united upon it and the Prophet (S) said that the ummah will not unite upon error.

We are not interested in your foolish qadiyani propaganda. The fact is that EVEN if we were to remotely believe that there could be someone else after the Prophet, it couldn’t have been a self-proclaimed servant of the British and someone who has said such utter nonsense that you’d have to be brain-dead to believe it came from a man of intelligence, let alone a man of god.

Come on Saher, just think from the brain that Allah gave you… how can such a man, barely followed by few million (out of 1.5 billion Muslims) be someone who is the promised messiah? Think about it.

Here’s another Ahmadi gem (from the horse’s mouth or in this case from the donkey’s mouth):

After some Christian missionary had accused Mirza to have taken side with the Muslims, Mirza Ghulam was quick to compose another letter to the British representative in which he denied all the charges.

      (after reiterating the services Mirza and family were rendering to the British)… all this should not go to waste and, God forbid, that the British government should get any ill feelings in its heart about their long-time faithful and well-wisher family. It is impossible to stop these people from lying about us due to religious difference, jealousy or personal reasons. We only request that the government should take good care of this self-implanted seedling family which has continually proven itself to be a faithful and devoted (jan-nesar) family for fifty years and about which there are issued letters from the British government attesting to their faithfulness and servitude for a long time;

“There are countless proofs for the Prophet Mohammed being seal of all prophets, and the FINAL prophet.”

Non-Ahmadi Muslim ullema have attempted to provide this “proof” for over a hundred years now. With no such luck. Saying the same thing over and over again won’t make it true..

“Yes the same people who believe in angels, jinns, the Prophet’s Journey to Heaven, Allah Himself, His Throne, Jannah and Naar… all unseen.”

The belief in angels, jinns, etc is incumbent upon every Muslim, since it is sanctioned by the Qur’an. Nor does it defy rational thought. Islam is a rational religion that encourages reflection by its followers. The belief that a non-Muslim prophet that’s been alive for millions of years (which in itself is baffling) is the only man that can save Islam and the ummah in the latter days is not endorsed by the Qur’an in any manner and i’d like to be proven otheriwse…and that is what constitutes as a ‘brain-dead’ belief in my opinion considering it has no Qur’anic evidence.

as for the quotes you used, you’ll have to do better than that. misqouting references, and that too used from anti-Ahmadi websites claiming things like Dr.Abdus Salam was an Israeli spy *rolls eyes* is a futile attempt to shy away from actual arguments. But that is all too typical.

Anyone can believe what they want to. Even if the belief doesn’t hold up under scrutiny. But if you’re going to criticize, be prepared (and no, weak evidence from silly websites does not count) to provide justification.

Lots more to be said, but I don’t want to turn this into some sort of duel. This is an excellent website and I give credit to its owners for creating it. Lots of great things for Muslims, particularly, the youth to read and reflect on. So jazakAllah for that. I just find some of your comments in particular, Amad, silly.

As for the sister below, I couldn’t agree more. “tolerance is the ability to disagree in peace.” Ahmadi MUSLIMS have proven this through action, not just words. I wish I could say the same for my non-Ahmadi Muslim brothers and sisters in various parts of the world, but that’s another story for another day. :)

          Peace.

Imam Mahdi has not coee yet. and imam mahdi is different from the messiah isa ibn maryam.

] Ibn Hibban and Nu’aym narrated from Jabir ibn ‘Abdillah [radhiyallahu ‘anhuma] that he said: “The Messenger of Allah [sallallahu ‘alayhi wa-sallam] said:

“A group of my Ummah will always remain, striving upon the Truth, until ‘Isa ibn Maryam descends at dawn in Bayt al-Maqdis. Isa ibn maryam will come to the Mahdi, and it will be said to isa: “Come forward, O Prophet of Allah, and lead us in the prayer.” So the messiah isa ibn maryam will say to Imam Mahdi: “No the salah was called for you to lead. The people of this Ummah are trustees for each other, due to their honour before Allah [‘azza wa-jall].”

Now to emphasise the clear difference between imam mahdi and isa ibn maryam:
imam mahdi is from ahle bayt [abu dawud] while isa ibn maryam is from banu israil.
When Imam mahdi (as) passes away he will be buried in bayt al quds — jerusalem [musnad ahmad and abu nu’aym kitab al fitan]
but when isa ibn maryam (as) passes away he will be buried in madina [bukhari and muslim]

its clear that the above prophetic signs have not happened yet, thus proving that Imam Mahdi has not come yet. Also the messiah has not returned yet.

there are many imposters such as mirza ghulam who claimed to be in spirit of krishna and budda. he was just a slave for the british empire.

According to authentic ahadith; the prophet (pbuh) said that dajjal is a human being born to jewish parents. Not the church as some qadianis claim.

“Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.” [Quran ch 3 vs 8]

Quran says that Muhammah (peace be upon him) is indeed the seal of the Prophets.

Quran in ch 33 verse 40; Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah , of all things, Knowing.

thus its clear that prophet Muhammad (saw) is the last appointed prophet with the last divine book and complete shariah.

The prophet himself said that he is the last of the prohets and the Quran is the last revelation. The first 3 generations which are the best of generations agreed that the prophet muhammad (pbuh) is the last prophet.

“The tribe of Israel was guided by prophets. When a prophet passed away, another prophet succeeded him. But no prophet will come after me; only caliphs will succeed me.” [5]
Muhammad affirmed: “My position in relation to the prophets who came before me can be explained by the following example: A man erected a building and adorned this edifice with great beauty, but he left an empty niche, in the corner where just one brick was missing. People looked around the building and marvelled at its beauty, but wondered why a brick was missing from that niche? I am like unto that one missing brick and I am the last in the line of the Prophets.” [6]
“So I came and in me the line of Prophets has ended.” [7][8]
The very same tradition in similar words has been incorporated among other traditions reported by Jabir bin Abdullah; and its last sentence reads, “It is in me that line of Prophets came to its final end.” [9]
Musnad Ahmad contains traditions reported by Hadrat Ubayyi bin Ka’b, Hadrat Abu Sa’id Khudri and Hadrat Abu Huraira on the same subject with a slight variation of words here and there.[10]
Muhammad observed: “God has bestowed upon me six favors which the former Prophets did not enjoy:

I have been endowed with the gift of pithy and perfect speech.
I was granted victory owing to my awe.
The spoils of war were made lawful unto me.
The whole earth has been made the place of worship for me and it has become the means of purification for me also. In other words in my religion, offering of prayers is not confined to certain specified places of worship. Prayers can be offered at any place over the earth. And in case water is not available it is lawful for my people to perform ablutions with earth(Tayammum) and to cleanse themselves with the soil if water for bathing is scarce.
I have been sent by Allah to carry His Divine message to the whole world.
The line of prophets has come to its final end in me.[11]

Muhammad affirmed: “The chain of Messengers and Prophets has come to an end. There shall be no Messenger nor Prophet after me.” [12]

Muhammad observed: “I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am the effacer and infidelity shall be erased through me; I am the assembler. People shall be assembled on Doomsday after my time. (In other words Doom is my only successor.) And I am the last in the sense that no prophet shall succeed me.” [13]
Muhammad observed: “God Almighty hath sent unto the world no apostle who did not warn his people about the appearance of Dajjal( Anti-Christ, but Dajjal did not appear in their time). I am the last in the line of Prophets and ye are the last community of believers. Without doubt, then, Dajjal shall appear from amongst ye”.[14]
‘Abdur Rahman bin Jubair reported: “I heard Abdullah bin ‘Amr ibn-‘As narrating that one day Muhammad came out of his house and joined our company. His manner gave us the impression as if he were leaving us.’ He said, ‘I am Muhammad, the unlettered prophet of Allah’ and repeated this statement three times. Then he affirmed: “There will be no prophet after me’.” [15]
Muhammad said: “Allah will send no Apostle after me, but only Mubashshirat. It was said: what is meant by al-Mubashshirat. He said : Good vision or pious vision”.[16] (In other words there is no possibility of Divine revelation in future. At the most if some one receives an inspiration from Allah he will receive it in the form of “pious dream.”[17]
Muhammad said: “If an Apostle were to succeed me, it would have been ‘Umar bin Khattab.” [18]
Muhammad told ‘Ali, “You are related to me as Aaron was related to Moses. But no Apostle will come after me.”[19]
This tradition is recorded in Bukhari and Muslim in the account of the Battle of Tabuk also. Musnad records two traditions narrated by Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas on this subject. The last sentence in one of these traditions runs as follows : “Behold there is no prophethood after me.”
Detailed accounts of the traditions report that on the eve of his departure for the battle of Tabuk, Muhammad had resolved to leave Hadrat ‘Ali behind him in order to look after the defense and supervise the affairs of Medina. The hypocrites thereupon began to spread insinuations and rumours about Hadrat ‘Ali. Hadrat ‘Ali went to the Prophet and submitted : ‘O Prophet of Allah, are you leaving me behind among women and children?’ On this occasion in order to set his mind at peace Muhammad observed: “You are related to me as was Aaron with Moses.” In other words “as Hadrat Moses on the Mount Tur had left Hadrat Aaron behind to look after the tribe of Israel, so I (Muhammad) leave you behind to look after the defense of Medina.” At the same time apprehending that this comparative allusion to Hadrat Aaron might later on give rise to heresies, the Muhammad immediately made it clear that “There will be no Prophet after me.” [20]
Thauban reports: “Muhammad observed: And there will arise Thirty imposters in my Ummah and each one of them will pronounce to the world that he is a prophet, but I am the last in the line of the Prophets of God and no Apostle will come after me.” [21]
Abu Dawud in ‘Kitab-ul-Malahim’ has recorded another tradition reported by Abu Huraira in the same subject. Tirmidhi has also recorded these two traditions as reported by Thauban and Abu Huraira. The text of the second tradition runs thus: “It will come to this that thirty imposters will arise and each one of them will put forth his claim to be the Apostle of God.” Muhammad observed: “Among the tribe of Israel who went before you there indeed were such people who held communion with God, even though they were not his Prophets. If ever there arose a person from among my people who would hold communion with God, it would be none else but ‘Umar (May Allah be pleased with him).” [22]
A version of this same tradition in `Muslim’ contains Muhaddithuna instead of Yukallimuna. But then Mukalima and Muhaddith bear identical meaning i.e., a man enjoys the privilege of holding direct communion with God or a person who is addressed by the Almighty from the unseen. Thus we conclude that if there had been any person among the followers of Muhammad who could hold communion with God without being raised to the dignity of prophethood, it would have been `Umar.
Muhammad said: “No Prophet will come after me and there will, therefore, be no other community of followers of any new prophet.” [23]
Muhammad observed: “I am the last in line of the prophets of God and my Masjid is the last Masjid (referring the holy Masjid of the Prophet).” [24]
A large number of such traditions of Muhammad have been reported by the companions and a great many compilers have recorded them from authoritative sources. A study of these traditions shows that Muhammad, on several occasions, and in various ways and in different words made it explicitly clear that he was the last prophet of God; that no prophet would follow him and that the line of prophets had ended in him. Furthermore, those would claim to be prophets and messengers of God after his time would be imposters and liars.
There can be no authentic, creditable and conclusive interpretation of the words of the Qur’an, Khatam-un- Nabiyyin, than that given by Muhammad for the credentials of Muhammad need no proof and the authority of his words is unassailable. His words are authentic and a proof in itself. When Muhammad is explaining a Nass of the Holy Quran, his explanation is the most authentic and a proof
      positive.

The Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam said in an authentic hadeeth: “I am the last prophet, There is no prophet after me and mu ummah is the last ummah.” [malik, bukhari and musnad ahmad]

thus Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the last appointed prophet with the last divine book – the Quran.

also the prophet said ”and there will be no mosque after my mosque.”

the above narration means that madina masjid is the last sacred masjid.
