IlmSummit Khutbah: ‘The Power of Little’

Published

Shaykh Yaser Birjas delivered the first khutbah of IlmSummit 2008 to the group of students gathered in Houston from all over America, Canada, the UK, and even France and South Africa.

In the first week many subjects have been covered including Adab al-‘Ilm, Saheeh al-Bukhari, Tafseer of selected Surahs, Aqeedah, Usul al-Din, History of Andalus, Uloom al-Quran, Balaghah of the Quran, and a session where the brothers bounced pink balloons all around the room. At the midway point of IlmSummit Sh. Yaser delivered a khutbah to the students about the importance of consistent actions and having a healthy balance of spirituality along with seeking knowledge.
