Cute kid. Although the USCIS won’t comment on the cause for the delay, I find CAIR’s explanation of a mix-up in names quite believable. Two years, however, is an unacceptably long time for these matters to get straightened out. I’m surprised the Boujrads didn’t try pushing hard even sooner.

I am not entirely surprised either. My son whose name is Abdullah was (not sure if he still is) on the ‘watch-list’… couldn’t print boarding passes, etc. He garnered this achievement at the tender age of 4. He is known to have great plastic sword-fighting and toy-gun toting skills. Somehow his reputation must have preceded him :)
