Is Daniel Pipes a Former Muslim? (Obama & the Apostasy Argument)
In his New York Times op-ed on May 12, Edward Luttwak puts forth the provocative claim that Barack Obama is considered an apostate by Islamic law. According to Luttwak, Obama will therefore be a liability for American relations with the Muslim world, and he may even face greater risk of assassination than other potential presidents, […]
Jerusalem: Don’t Be A Stranger
The other night I was sat on my sofa not doing very much. Being the easily bored woman-child that I am, I ended up messing around with the Google Maps feature of my latest toy, which allowed me to view aerial shots of almost anywhere in the world, 007-stylee. All of a sudden, I felt […]
John McCain’s Spiritual Guide Parsley Says: Destroy Islam
All the talk about Obama’s minister Wright and his big mouth. But hardly a squeak about McCain’s extremist endorsers and guides. After the endorsement from one bigot, Hagee, which McCain was personally grateful for, comes Mr. Parsley, who wants to “destroy Islam“.

Obedience to Parents: The Test of Our Generation?
Most immigrant parents came here to go to school, to work, or open businesses. While some studied engineering, others studied business, some opened up gas stations, and yet others came for the ultimate prize of Medical School. In all of these cases though, they left home at a young age and went overseas. After studying, establishing themselves as professionals, buying a car, and buying a house like good Muslim children, they went back home, got married, and brought their wife over here. Then they lived happily ever after. … Then a funny thing happened.
