Shaykh Waleed Basyouni Khutbah: Tests & Tribulations

Published

In light of Shaykh Waleed’s son’s diagnosis of leukemia, this khutbah was meant to be timely. The prayer and post-prayer announcements are included. If anyone wishes to donate to help with the construction of Shaykh Waleed’s masjid (www.theMasjid.org) and its associated sadaqa jaariya, feel free to contact us (info at muslimmatters dot org). This is a way to help Shaykh, by helping the dawah works around him.

Assalam alaikum Sheikh. Wa Jazak Allahu Khair! When the shaikh said ‘it’s for my own benefit’ and repeated it 3 times during this khutbah, it had my eyes fill with tears.

    Subhan Allah. Alhamdulillah.

Bismillah. Shifa Allahu liYusuf ibn Waleed. Alhamdolillah I met with Shaykh Waleed yesterday. Truly we can learn so much from our teachers by observing their akhlaque and adab. MashaAllah, Shaykh Waleed’s manner bears witness to the barakat of his Islamic studies, to the good khuluq of his teachers, Rahim Allah alayhum.
