This is what the French government dreaded. Their dread is well founded : Islam is here to stay, the religion ordained by God can never be terminated !

She did quit the music alhamdulillah!
I recently saw an interview with her on French TV (where she was dressed in full hijab) and when asked whether she plans a comeback, she answered that the drive behind her music was rage and anger and since she found peace in Islam, there is nothing left of that rage, alhamdulillah.
She was very humble, sincere and very inspirational. She has the potential of a great daaeeiah, mashaAllah. May Allah bless her and strengthen her on her path!
