Swearing and obscene language has become widespread, to the extent of being considered casual, and yet it is hated by Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) and His Messenger subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He)! Shaykh Yahya Ibrahim reminds us that obscene language can render our fasts hollow and unaccepted.
