Learn a Dua’a That Protects From All Evil

Published

As-salaamu alaykum,

One of my great teachers, Shaykh Waleed Basyouni (may Allah protect him) and his friend were spending some time reading Quran over someone who was possessed with jinn. Subsequently, by the will of Allah, the brother who was possessed had been cured. As the three of them were walking, Shaykh Waleed suddenly said that he heard a lash, as if someone was struck with a whip, and the brother who had been possessed jumped a few steps forward. Shaykh Waleed immediately rushed to the brother and uncovered his back. He found a mark on his back due to the hit that he heard. (Note that the brother had been with the Shaykh for at least the last 24 hours, which allowed Shaykh Waleed to confirm that this mark was due to the hit he just heard.)

The Shaykh had recognized how angry the jinn was after the man was freed from them and later on as the brother was possessed once again and Shaykh Waleed continued to recite Quran on the brother, he spoke to the jinn and asked if it was them who had struck the brother on his back. The jinn said yes and when the Shaykh asked why, the jinn responded with a strange voice stating that he hated the man and was so angry. The Shaykh asked the jinn why he did not hit him and his friend Adel as they had been nearby. The jinn replied that he had wished to do the same to them but was unable to because the Shoyoukh had said a dua for protection during the day, which made the jinn unable to reach or harm them.

Subhana Allah. What was the dua?

I was blessed to see Shaykh Waleed Basyouni after and he told me the dua’a that he had read and that helped protect him by the will of Allah. This is what he said –

Rasoola Allah แนฃallallฤhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allฤh be upon him) taught us to recite several dua’as and supplications, whereby we can gain the protection of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala from all evil. He said in this authentic hadith in Saheeh ibn Majah:

“There is no person who says, in the morning and evening of every day: (بِسْمِ اللَّهِ) In the name of Allah (الَّذِي لاَ يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَىْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاءِ) with Whose Name nothing on earth or in heaven harms (وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ) and He is the All-Hearing the All-Knowing (ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ) 3 times (فَيَضُرَّهُ شَىْءٌ) and is then harmed by anything.”

Allahu akbar!

Remember to recite this 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening for protection from all evil.

Bismillaahil-lathi la yaDorro ma’asmehe shay’on feel-ArDe wala fees-samaa’ wa who-wa As-samee’o Al-Aleem.

Do your best to share this with your friends and family. May Allah bless you and protect you.

Your Brother Majed Mahmoud

Really? This on Muslim Matters? Although the reality of jinn is true; it is extremely rare and without context, namely, what criteria the Shaykh used diagnosed the person as possessed this post is an embarrassment to Muslims. Without context and clarification this post makes Muslims look as superstitious gullible people who believe in nonsense.

      Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah,
Your reply implies that the article is based on a lie. Is this ‘really’ the message you want to convey here?
If you don’t trust this website and/or the author, then maybe you should just do yourself a favor and stop waste your time here.
May Allah ‘aza wa jal protect us from having bad thoughts on our brothers/sisters intentions.

Perhaps we should not be so harsh in our responses. It then becomes a vicious cycle.

      Dear Hamza

I am sure the Shaykh is experienced enough to understand the signs and effects of possession. Other than that, did you read the whole incident? He spoke to the jinn too. So what context and clarification are you looking for? A Fox News feature story?

there are plenty of people who are affected by jinns but do not speak about it to others. if you are not one of these people then consider yourself blessed. don’t demean the authentic experiences of other people just because you have not experienced them yourself. it is hurtful and quite honestly, ignorant.

Your comment just goes to show how little knowledge / experience you have, and how little exposure you have had to these incidents. While you sit in your comfort zone and criticise others, there are brothers and sisters who are encountering these beings live as they risk their lives and perform ruqyah on those possessed. So next time before your mouth speaks out what your ignorant little mind does not know, try to get REAL experience and maybe you will grow not only in knowledge, but have some respect for these sheikh. Only if you can dare it.

Jzk for such important information, can’t express how serious the effects of jinn related trials have on individuals and families, the grieve and the oppression that the victim is subjected to fortunatley can only be known by those who have been effected and the families who have seen it first hand, and for the others who have not seen it and in many cases say they believe in it still refuse to accept it as haqq even amongst some Muslims sadly, however all tests are from the will of Allah and shifah (cure) is from Allah swt, he tests us cause he loves us and this struggle is rewarded, many who have been through situation take it as a great lesson and better themselves in seeking knowledge on how to protect ones self via the Quran as many verses are for our protection and should be recited on conditions (times of day, after prayers and dua’s) too via hadiths and Dua’s, there is protection for manking in the words of Allah.

I have seen so many people who were possessed with Jinn.
Jinn talks through the person that he possessed.
when I was in Madrisa, Islamic school, I used to go with my Qoran teacher
and recite Qoran over the possessed people.

As someone who spent nearly her entire life in possessed houses and suffering from sihr and with a family who also suffered greatly from sihr and mas, shame on you. I understand that westernized thinking has made a lot of people scoff at anything science can’t prove, but don’t drag your attitude here just because you were blessed by Allah to not suffer from it.

Hamza 21 The fact that you are not a scholar of any sort makes me suspicious and doubtful of your opinion. Atleast the shaykh has gone through school and experience to present his story you on the other hand have nothing to back your opinion. Come back when you’ve received the same knowledge and experience as our scholars to have a valid argument.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, used to pray even for himself and his family. He would recite

Surahs Al Ikhlas 112 (Pure faith): He is God, the one, the most unique, God the imminently indespensible. he has begotten no one, and is begotten of none. There is no one comparable to him.

Surah 113 Al Falaq (The Rising Day) I seek refuge with the Lord of the rising day. From the evil of what He has created, and the evil of the evening darkness when it overspreads. From the evil of the sorceresses who blow incantations on knots, From the evil of the envier when he envies.

Surah 114 An Nas (Men) I seek refuge with the Lord of men, the King of men, The God of men, From the evil of him who breathes temptations into the minds of men, Who suggest evil thoughts to the hearts of men, From among the jinns and men.

Surah Al Baqarah (The Cow) 2:255 Al Kursi: God There is no God but He, the living eternal, self subsisting, ever sustaining, Neither does somnolence affect Him nor sleep. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and who can intercede with Him except by His leave? Known to Him is all that is present before men and what is hidden (in time past and time future), and not even a little of His knowledge can they grasp except what He will. His seat extends over heavens and the earth, and He tires not protecting them; He alone is all high and supreme.

“the house in which al-Baqarah is recited is not approached by Shaytan. – Saheeh Muslim

    The last two surahs that will keep the Shaytan away from you;

2:285 The Prophet believes in what has been revealed to him by his Lord, and so do the faithful. Each ones believes in God and His angels, His books and the prophets, and we make no distinction between the apostles, For they say: We hear and obey, and we seek your forgiveness, O Lord, for to You we shall journey in the end.

2:286 God does not burden a soul beyond capacity. Each will enjoy what good he earns and indeed each will suffer from the wrong he does. Punish us not O Lord, if we fail to remember or lapse into error. Burden us not, O Lord, with a burden as you did those before us, impose not upon us a burden, O Lord, we cannot carry. Overlook our trespasses and forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our Lord and Master, help us against the clan of unbelievers.

Many of the believers also pray from Bani Israel (Children of Israel) a extra dua
17:80 O Lord let my entry be with honor, and let my exit be with honor, and grant me power from You which would help sustain me.

The most beautiful and powerful surah in in the noble Quran is At Taubah 129: God is sufficient for me, there is no God but he, I depend on Him alone, the Lord of the Glorious Throne.

Can a reciter get similar protection for a week if he/she recites Sura Al Kahf (Sura 18) on Friday?

The recitation of Surah Kahf on Fridays is related to receiving noor (light) till the next Friday. Noor has to do with guidance and clarity not necessarily protection from physical harm as far as I know.

People share, it’s more than it seems it is. Has anyone come across something which is like invisible small creatures with feathers/wings(with flutter sound) running in the bloodstream, brain, whole body in teams climbing up n down, although it could be pretty much felt but can’t do much about the situation and silly is that 95% of spiritual healers aren’t aware of these types of demons and boring is that they always prescribe ruqyah meant for all evil. Unfortunately, these creatures return back to their same form after sometime again. Is there anyone who could help.

Note : these creatures leave their hair on the body, small hairs all over. Please help if anyone can, asap +918095692006 mohsin, thanks. God bless all.

I am a revert. Before I was a very devout Christian. Even in those circles they recognize the possession of people by evil entities, they just don’t understand what they are. I have seen scary things, and I believe 100% what this Sheikh says. Thankfully Allah has provided us with protection from Shaytan and Jinn if we are vigilant in salah, and dua. May Allah protect us all.
