FAQ
Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions. For any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
Q: Is your material copyrighted? Can I use it or reproduce it (electronically and/or print-form)?
Yes. Please see our Legal/Disclaimer page for further info.
Q: Do you moderate comments? Delete comments?
There may be some level of initial moderation to eliminate trolls and offensive commentators. We reserve the right to delete any comment or group of comments at any time.
In general, we will not remove comments that are simply not in agreement with our views. However, comments offensive to Islam or the Prophet
We also reserve the right to edit/delete comments that can lead to or even have the semblance of encouraging or commending violence. In the world we live today, it is better to be more sensitive to these issues than to be lax.
Q: Can I write for you? I have a tip for an interesting blog entry.
We will accept submissions and will choose to publish them on a case-by-case basis. If you are interested in becoming part of the staff, let us know, and we recommend that you comment often and start submitting entries. Eventually, the talent will shine through, and we will not hesitate in expanding our team inshallah. For submission and tips, use the “Contact” button.
Q: Can I include links or use HTML?
Yes.
Q: Can you edit or delete my comment if I change my mind?
Please realize that the comments in a blog are like a conversation. We cannot simply edit or delete a part of the conversation as one can understand. Also folks need to understand that what they say and write can be held against them, both legally and Islamically, so one has to be very careful with one’s tongue (or fingers in this case). We have to take responsibility for what we say, otherwise, anyone can say anything and then later just ask us to remove it. So, this is a long way of answering the question. In general, we will not edit/delete, unless it meets one of the following condition:
- Self-incriminating from a legal perspective (can reasonably get them in serious trouble).
- Comment of very personal nature that may be a source embarrassment or even trouble if noticed by the wrong people.
- Islamically incorrect (recognized later).
- Slanderous to someone’s reputation.
If your comment clearly meets one of the conditions above, please email us and we will look into it. Our editors reserve the right to final judgment on all comment edits.

Do you have a separate “Submission Button” for those interested in submitting material to you for consideration?
If not, it may enchance more readers to get interactive with your website. So long as you pick a submission of the week or month etc…
In addition, a random thought section – for things about our deen that come to mind everyday and we have no where to record or share it….
I.e. I was standing at the bus stop waiting for the bus… couldnt help notice how all the trees were attempting to reach towards the blue sky— i felt as if they were simply trying to get closer to the heavens and Allah.
Keep up the great work!
Kind Regards

I can’t seem to view Arabic texts in your content. Is a special font required?
