Dr. Wafa T. Mohamad, Ed.D., M.Ed., is an instructional coach at Universal School (IL). Her scholarship and practice explore how curriculum, language, and school culture shape Muslim youths’ identities and sense of belonging. She leads K–12 initiatives in SEL/character education, teacher coaching, and continuous school improvement. She writes about ethics, pedagogy, community care, and practices that honor the emotional and spiritual lives of students while maintaining high academic expectations.
