THREE PROJECTS FOR BURMESE REFUGEES (AIDS/HIV, & 2 Clothing Projects)
PROJECT 1
On 1st January 2007, Mercy Mankind distributed over 300 warm shawls to refugees living on the border of Burma and Bangladesh. Mercy Mankind has been helping refugees since October 2007 (please see our work under under the menu "Project Photos & Videos")

PROJECT 2 (AIDS/HIV)
HIV AIDS Education Workshop for Over 300 Refugees ,
5 Jan 2008
You can see part of the refugees make-shift dwellings on the top photo on this page. You can also see Myanmar (Burma) on the other side of the river. With your help, we ran a training course on HIV prevention and "living with AIDS" for these refugees who cannot afford to eat regularly and who cannot even see a doctor due to the costs.
Their children grow up without education (we are doing our small bit to help some of them them with schooling and basic healthcare as well- Click HERE).
Anyway , the photos are of these refugees on the training day. Thank you for your donations.
