Thank you for writing about Gaza, and for all the people that followed the news of the attack in 2014! It’s now 1 year later and I’m afraid a lot of people have forgotten the situation in Gaza is still dire – it’s understandable, as many things have happened in the world – including natural tragedies like the earthquake in Nepal. But I’m working at a NGO in Palestine (West Bank) and am reminded of the difficulties in Gaza everyday – I don’t have face-to-face contact with my co-workers in Gaza because of the occupation but we get updates and are well aware of the challenges that they face. Why am I telling you about this? Because we have a partnership with Kiva.org which is like a crowd funding site where we upload profiles of some of our borrowers so that people around the world can loan small amounts to them. I want to share this website with you because I think it’s a great way that people all around the world can maintain a connection to Palestine, and not forget our brothers and sisters celebrating Ramadan under most difficult circumstances!! Ramadan Kareem to all! http://www.kiva.org/lend?partner_id=80
