Imam Siraj Wahaj- Get Well Soon: Imam Johari Abdul-Malik

Published

From Imam Johari Abdul-Malik, the following news comes on Imam Siraj Wahhaj, one of the pillars of Muslims in America. May Allah give Imam Siraj quick and full recovery and shifa’ from whatever ailments that are bothering him, and may Allah make all his ailments a source of forgiveness and increase of his hasanaat. Please be sure to send a quick note of your good wishes to Imam Siraj. The following are exceprts. Please see entire post at this link.

As-salaamu alaikum,

Many people have asked me, “How is Imam Siraj?  I heard he was in the hospital” (TRUE!).

Another person said, “I heard Imam Siraj is like on his death-bed” (FALSE!).  He was in hospital for testing and stayed for observation and was later released.

Due to the number of phone calls, text messages, emails and conversations in mosques (masajid) in the city and around country, I wanted to share your concerns and to thank brothers and sisters for their dua.

I am not speaking on behalf Imam Siraj, his family or MANA.  But the Imam has shared in semi-public settings what is going on with him and gave us some advice.

Recently, after feeling (as he says) ‘not right’ he went to the hospital.  There he learned he has “High Blood Pressure”.  His other health indexes are fine.  The doctors are treating him and they have been adjusting his medication.  Imam Siraj is  taking the medication and adjusting his hectic work schedule to suit.

Send well wishes to:

Ameen to all the duas for recovery of our beloved imam and daaee. There is no mufti for all America, but if there were a daaee for all America, Imam Siraj would probably be the pick of the jamat. Alhamdolillah, he has tread, driven, and flown so many miles criss-crossing the country for Islam, that if there were frequent daaee miles, he’d have lifetime-platinum status before we had counted the trips up to this century.

May Allah accept every mile of his travels, every speech on behalf of masajid and communities across the country, every call to Islam, every call to better akhlaque, every call to understanding between Muslims.

And may Allah be Kind to us by increasing the health and well-being of our imam, so that we may better learn from and take advantage of his knowledge and passion for Islam. Ameen.

    Salam `alaykum,
You people seem to love Imam Siraaj! Can someone please explain to me how he is such a favorite? Is there some place where I could listen to any khutbahs or halaqas by him, since he seems like a good public speaker.
    Jazakallah,
    Salam `alaykum

@MR: Most of his lectures don’t work; it says something like ‘Video removed because it violates copyright’.

I really don’t have an affiliation with any religion, the only thing I do care about is rebuilding the order of Assassins. I have seen to many people abuse power. I also want to liberate countries who religion is tied in with the government. Christianity is and so is Islamic. Any one who want to say something then say it to me.

      Hi,

So you are saying you want to ‘liberate’ countries that have a government system based on religion even if its those same peoples’ choice to have it ? That would then be contradictory.
