from Montreal, Quebec, where he was born in 1981. He obtained a degree in Economics and Social Science from Champlain College. After that he went to the Islamic University of Madinah where he just finished up his degree in Shari’ah. He plans to pursue his masters degree in Islamic Studies from McGill University within the coming years. He’s married with a daughter, and his wife says he is not looking for a second wife. He fills his free time with Islamic studies, basketball, and maintaining his own personal tareeqah which presently has only one mureed (ibnabeeomar). One of his pursuits and areas of study is the field of divorce, marriage, and family counseling.
