Eid Mubarak. Allahumma taqabal minna waminkum.
I haven’t prepared anything, as I was unable to get chicken yesterday. I’m waiting for a friend to bring me some raw Eid meat which is even better.
But I did get myself looking good! Haha! Today is great!

Assalamo alaikom,
Eid Mubarak to all the mashaAllah Hard Working, Inspiring & Motivated MM family members and to all our dedicated readers!
It is truly a blessing to be a part of this family!
I can officially say that this was alhamdulillah the best eid ever…..why? Simply because we created a beautiful balance between Deen and Dunya!
After prayers we went and had a fabulous brunch at Dusit Thani with friends, did gift exchange for the kids then we spent the rest of the afternoon at an Orphange with about 33 kids.
We had prepared individualized eid gift bags filled with the things they would love, we got a bouncy slide, entertainment for the kids and 4 of their favorite characters ( Mickie, Minnie, spiderman, Dora dressed up playing with the kids.
Our kids were playing with the orphans with such utter joy and without any hesitation. Seeing
the joy, laughter and contentment on these kids faces truly made it the Best Eid Ever

And how about some lessons in manners for some? Some persons cannot shed their rudeness even on Eid when everyone is supposed to be HAPPY.
TAQABAL it is! More Arabic lessons!
No one will mess up my mood this Eid. Some of us on MM are determined to be cheerful.
I did get to prepare a pot full of meat (some are still in the freezer). As usual, I gave some and a drink to one of my neighbours.
