Meena is a writer, podcaster, high school English teacher, wife, and new mom. She loves working with Muslim youth and is interested in literature, arts, and culture. She studied Comparative Literature and Creative Writing at the University of California, Irvine and has a Master’s in Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She briefly dabbled in Classical Arabic studies in the US and is also studying the Asharah Qira'aat/10 Recitations.     I can call Him at any time of the day or night. I don’t have to dial a single number. I don’t need the 3-digit extension. I never get put on hold. The signal never fades. He never ignores my calls. He never needs to hear any explanation. He always understands. He always has time to listen. It’s always a toll-free connection. I always get through.

    MashaAllah, that is what I needed to be reminded of right now.

    hmm i dont like this whole call thing going on..it reminds me of my so-called christian aunt who has a paper on her fridge talking about if u going through stress call john 1:178…if ur feeling good call matthews 4:61..etc…etc..etc…i said woooow lol
