Salam Alaykom brother Mohammad,

There is a book called the sealed nectar about the "Al Seira Al Nabawiya" life of the prophet (asws) and I want you to go over it in depth. Our beloved prophet never took part in any action that harmed INNOCENT PEOPLE. Also, no one can deny that Jihad is a fard (Obligation) on each Muslim, BUT there is conditions & one of these conditions is not to kill safe/innocent people. In addition, I recommend you to search about the opinion of "Ahl Al I'lm" Scholars and TRUE Sunnah followers for the right answers. I wish I knew you so we would talk more, however, you have to search more thru genuine resources to find answers that makes you closer to Allah Subhanah w Ta'la and leads you to be one of "Ahil Al Firdaws" (The highest level in Jannah).

May Allah Subhanah w Ta'la guide us to the right path.

If you had been locked up in prison without just cause, you can only wonder why his beliefs has changed.

Wow! If a person is oppressed that means he changes his beliefs?! What about all the Prophets who were oppressed and dealt with unjustly? Did they all change their beliefs because of that? Or did that make them hold on to what they already believed and were calling to and made their beliefs firm and unshakable ?

Salam to one and all
To be very frank you will never hear or read an alqaeda scholar saying that the INTENTIONAL killing of innocents is allowed.
I have some questions about these issues.
What do MM advise as regards Isreal and Egypt recognising them

Great. A veritable nesting ground of Awlaki fanboys. As far as I am concerned, Awlaki and his religious opinions are a lot like standing on the edge of a cliff. Sure it may all seem life affirming and exhilarating to embrace his "teachings", but like the edge of a cliff you are still walking towards a needless death. What proof does it take to convince people that this man is truly evil? The beheading of a child on live television on a non-Western owned network? Considering his ethical and moral degeneration in recent years, such an act by him may be in the offing.

Any American Muslim contemplating following his current example in any fashion is probably setting up their community for a series of reprisals by the larger non-Muslim society. Reprisals I might add that would probably be too terrifying to think about.

Some people say that his previous lectures and teachings are still good (just ignore the more recent bad ones). Well I say if you follow that same logic one may also conclude that there are some redemptive/positive passages in Mein Kampf... if you look hard enough.

Dear Shaykh Omar,
I agree with you 100%. Extrajudicial killings, whether in Pakistan or Afghanistan, whether of Americans or non-Americans is really getting out of hand. It is an Israeli policy that now seems to have been fully adopted by America. Such a killing, if it happens, will be another boost for the Muslim "hearts and minds" campaign, except in an entirely opposite sense! Murder of Awlaki will make him even more of a hero to exactly the same youth who are at radicalism risk.

When will America learn that bullets are not the solution for every situation! I hope someone puts some sense into Obama before such a state-legislated terrorist operation actually occurs!
