Shajhan Siraj and his brother push boats through low tide into the sea. The boats are filled with fresh water which they have collected inland. It takes the brothers up to three hours to make the journey each day.

SubhanAllah! How much we take for granted the blessings of Allah. For those who always have fresh water and don’t have to worry about it, this is an eye opener to be thankful for every blessing that Allah has given us and not take it for granted. The following hadith comes to mind:

The Prophet peace be upon him said “whoever of you wakes up in the safety of his house, healthy in his body, and has enough food for the day, then it is as if the world has been gathered for him in its entirety.”
