He did give a kuthbah in Arabic.
But he also gave one in English.
My family lives about 30 miles from the Masjid Sheikh Abdul Nasir is at, yet we go there whenever possible.
Mashallah his Kuthbahs never disappoint!

I prefer it when the English bayaan is separate from the Khutbah and is done before the 2nd adhaan. (For Jumuah)

1. 1st Adhaan
2. English Bayaan
3. 2nd Adhaan
4. Arabic Khutbah 1
5. Sit
6. Arabic Khutbah 2
7. Iqamaah

Many mosque do no. 4 in English or both no.4 & no.5 in English. I personally follow the ruling that states the Khutbah should be in Arabic as it's part of the Jumuah Salaah and Salaah can only be in Arabic....so both the parts are done in Arabic.
