Not a rally flooding the streets of Times Square or London. No. None of this is going to do us, or our brothers and sisters in Palestine any good." Like you said, we need to have a balance between both tawakul and action--making duaa & increase in worship like qiyaam and fasting is obviously something we need to do but we also need to act, write, show our support....the more flooding of letters, petitions, phone calls, and media press we recieve the better inshallah. Even if it may 'not work' as the opponent of the argument may suggest, at least its something that you will benefit from as being accountable in the hereafter of what you did to help your brothers/sisters by any legit means necessary, iA. When the general public sees large numbers of people come out and protest against something, it raises awareness and mobilizes people to action. Of course a protest alone cannot get the job done.
