The Virtual Hajj Guide (Whether You’re Going or Not)
Most of us know at least one or more people who have gone for Hajj this year. Indeed, today marks the day that the hujjaaj will be leaving for Mina for step one of Hajj! May Allah accept their deeds and ours, ameen.
However, for those of us who were not fortunate enough to go for Hajj ourselves, we have a special treat: The Virtual Hajj Guide. Presented by Sheikh Younus Kathrada of Canada, this lecture (split into two parts) was intended as a practical preparation for this year's hujjaaj – but is excellent even for those of us unable to go this year, or who have already gone in the past. The sheikh reminds us of the spiritual benefits and lessons to be taken from Hajj, and clearly and concisely describes the entire journey from beginning to end.
Follow this up with a retread of Sheikh Yaser Birjas's Essential Hajj Checklist (Part One and Part Two)!
