[...] They currently have created a survey about how readers view the website, and asking for feedback and suggestions for improvement. Its a very short survey - and shouldnt take more than 5 minutes. Please do help out MuslimMatters.org to help improve their site for all of our benefit! [...]

wsalam.. dont worry, there's no monthly subscription charge coming. i believe it meant voluntary donations on a monthly basis, the site will remain free inshallah either way.

assalam `alaykum

I think I missed the email address where to send any further feedback.
I wanted to mention that if you guys do decide to do monthly subscriptions I will be extremely saddened.
It was hard to let go of the beneficial emails that Muhammad al Shareef once sent, but ever since the change with DiscoverU and such - I lose out on so much beneficial information because I can not pay the sum amount which is being requested. I can totally understand the need for fundraising, but as students of the knowledge - if what is meant by "subscription" could potentially cut off your readers from beneficial information especially if they cant pay the amount due - then what are they to do? I heard the excuse that if one really wants it, he will work hard to get it.. Alhamdulilah there are different avenues to receive knowledge such as this but those are hard to come by. This is not to put down any of the great works that each organizations have to put together. Ma sha' Allah each is great, but knowledge is difficult to come by and this site I must say is doing excellent and is one of my favorite websites to visit.

I disagree, major blogs that are extremely popular have more than 1 post a day. It's not hard for readers to find the latest articles.

salam Ali,
jazakAllahkhair for your kind comments

1) Yes, the 1/day is intentional. People find that if it is more than that, it becomes too much to read, and believe it or not, people lose attention. In fact, there has been requests to reduce it to 1/ 2-days

2) The only relationship was that the brother provided us feedback, and we want yours. But the main purpose was just to find a place to highlight the brother's inspiring story, and to inspire others. Out of inspiration, we hoped to ge a few minutes to do the survey. No direct connection though :) Good observation :)

Bismillahu ar-rahman ar-rahim

 Assalamu alaykum,

Firstly, may Allah bless all of your efforts, this is a very enjoyable and useful blog. I would like to ask two questions and.

1: Generally, MM has only one post a day, is this intentional? Can there be more?

2: No offence meant to anyone, just out of curiosity, what is the correlation between the blind brother's statements and the survey. It points out the fact that MM is accessible, is that it? again, I am asking only out of curiosity

Some more advice for MM: promote the number of RSS subscribers you have by adding the feedburner counter. It helps, trust me.
