Call Or Be Called – Advice for the Caller by Shaykh Riad Ouarzazi

Published

Some AlMaghrib students may have heard about Shaykh Riad Ouarzazi’s “A Heart Serene” class held in Canada in late 2007. The class was stellar, and I was able to attend when it came to Windsor during Thanksgiving weekend last year.

On one of the evenings of the course, the brothers all met up at a local volunteer’s house to chill with Shaykh Riad where he gave this short 10 minute talk on tips for the dai’yah (caller to Islam). The talk is recorded for your watching pleasure here.

Sometimes we start to get a bit down when Da’wah isn’t going right, or our techniques are failing, or we’re worried about someone not being very responsive to our efforts. This 10 minute video addresses all these concerns with three simple tips that every dai’yah needs to remember.

    Hi Abdullah,
I don’t know which reader you use, but in the reader NetNewsWire, clicking on “more” brings up the entire article within the reader. I imagine FeedDemon does the same. You might try one of those readers out. Both are free at http://www.newsgator.com/

    Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah Abdullah,

As Charles said, clicking on the “more” link should either reveal the entire article within your reader, or bring you to the MM website to read the rest of the article here, insha’Allah.
