Yasir Qadhi, Zakir Naik, Bilal Phillips, Yasser Fazaqa “Mini-Mes”
I think Saleem al-Amry’s mini-me is the best of all. Yasir’s mini-me disappeared quickly though there was no doubt about who he was representing! Who’s your favorite? (Hat-tip Reem S.)

Subhan Allah….ajeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeb jiddaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!
I missed this part, I had to leave early. Maybe it was best!!!
Yasir
LOL!!!!
But indeed they should have dressed YQ-mini-me in black shalwar kameez… fatal error.
oh man that was hilarious!
*Dies laughing*
My whole family had a blast watching that!!!!! Masha’Allah, mini-Sheikh-S.M. really hit it
the yaser fazaqa one was pretty good too
Haha, that was really funny.
I will share this on a different website, Sh. Hussein’s one is the best.
Entertaining yet creepy!
OMG LOL Just loved it soo much. and Shaykh Abdul Raheem Green was about to fall down with laughter attack LOL All Shyookh look so cute Masha’Allah
LOL … this was brilliant … we should do one for the almaghrib instructors at the next ilm fest.
Toooooooo cuuute masha’Allah!
May Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala make them the next generation of shuyookh and allow them to benefit the ummah like their shuyookh counterparts
Ameen!
And people say “conservative Muslims” aren’t funny… hah!
LOL, that was hilarious,
They should try to do this in one the NA conferences. It would be amazing.
MASHA’ALLLAH!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. That was HILARIOUS.
That was incredibly bizarre. Very surreal.
Mashallah I feel happy seeing them, when I was there age I wanted to imitate actors and what not. Inshallah our upcoming generation is better then us, at least they are getting a chance to listen to good people they are trying to imitate.
LOL That was Golden.
Haha I loved that!
“leTTs anaLiize” Dr.Naik, in a thick Indian accent. HA HA.
MashaaAllah for inspiring the kids! =)
But to be honest, I was a little surprised at this because I thought the majority of scholars would at least frown upon the use of fake beards and such things that might come under altering the creation of Allah swt.
Am I mistaken?
Amazing…I couldn’t help but laugh
May Allah make of them the true future scholars of Islam.
tabarakAllah!!!!
i wanna see the mini-me of Imam Abdul Malik….ohhhh snap!
Mashallah…that was cute and funny; and the looks on the faces of the scholars were priceless….
May Allah SWT preserve the knowledge of this deen through our present Shuyookh and in the like make the following generations the inheriters of the Prophet SAW…ameen *thumma ameen*
SubhanAllah. Peace just keeps getting better and better. After being there for the first edition in Chennai, Peace has come a long way.
This Mini-Me was just amazing…
LOL
LOL!!
hahahahah
bismillah. i’m sure there was good in it, because i could see such positive reactions from the shuyukh, and from the people who have posted here. personally i would have liked it if zakir naik’s son (right?) had smiled. his father/dr. naik has a good habit of smiling to encourage people to agree with him. i had to smile at the portrayal of saleem al-amry. the split screen and distinctive garb made that mini-shaykh the most impressive.
but it made me wonder. if we were watching young christian children re-enact a scene of Essa alayhis salam teaching on the mount — would we find it charming? if we were watching young shia children re-enact some less-violent scene from karbala — would we find it tasteful? those are the two religious traditions that i know if, christianity and the shia, who regularly use plays and reenactments, though they prefer very emotional scenes.
mashaAllah, young children are certainly not graven images (even the ones who were not smiling) but it seems to me like a step in that direction.
Haha, truly outstanding and adorable. And I surely hope their innocent efforts go beyond imitations insha’Allah!
LOL, this was awesome!!!
LOL
The best impersonations:
1. Sh. Salim al-Amri
2. Sh. Yassir Fazaga
3. Sh. Yasir Qadhi
mashallah..Real funny.. I gotta try this back home in T.O…hahahhahahahha
Masha’Allah…really funny!
This is really well organized and entertaining aswell!
Its a great idea to keep the youths actively involved in the community and in Islam. Futhermore, it is a great way to introduce a pathway for these children to keep the desire or learning Islam or having the desire to become leaders in this Ummah.
Harun
no, you are not. I’m amazed with the way we have started to perceive Islam…there is something seriously wrong with all of this! seriously wrong !
Ashraf, why don’t you tell us what is seriously wrong with this? And please provide your evidence too?
The changing of creation refers to such things as tatoos, eyebrow plucking, beautification plastic surgery, etc. It has nothing to do with wearing fake beards. I think the shayookh at the conference were in a better position to discern right from wrong if indeed something was unIslamic about this. But feel free to provide your point of view backed by Islamic texts.
salaamz,
im sorry, but Shaykh Ahmad Deedat took it. His impersonation was the hardest to do, but he pulled it off perfectly
Besides…Shaykh Ahmad Deedat is a classic
LOL.. I was there for the conference and we were all laughing so much while watching it. As soon as a new kid came on stage everybody would turn around and look at the one being parodied. Al-Hamdulillaah they were laughing more than anybody.
I freaked out in the morning seeing the kids preparing, as I walked into the rooms and saw a person that was obviously a minor, yet he had a full grown beard! I just froze looking at him until he came and spoke to me, and I realised that it was a costume for their play. They sure looked so realistic.
May Allaah reward the organisers of that great conference with the best of rewards!
