Subhanallah, more than a year ago, somebody introduced me to Anwar Awlaki series of lectures, and since then I don't enjoy listening to anybody else other this Shaikh. May Allah bless him to give more talks which can benefit all the Ummah. May I say over here that enemies of Islam would try to suppress his speech now, which needs to be taken care of.

One more suggestion is that Basheer Publications has the right to his talks on the biographies of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Abu Bakr (RA), Umar (RA), Hereafter etc. However I find his lectures as a must listen for every muslim on this planet. I want to request to whom it may concern to publish all his lectures and find a sponsor to advertise them to the whole Ummah. Ummah needs this VOICE at this time!!

Lastly, I hope Sheikh can also do lectures on Usman Bin Affan (RA) and Ali Bin Abi Talib (RA) and if possible on all of Ashra Mubashra, so that if somebody needs to choose a role model in Sahaba, he can pick any of them.

If possible, Sheikh's video lectures on YouTube would be seen by many. So I hope that money is raised in other ways and copyrights are not used as Ummah needs to hear the Sheikh's voice.

wassalam

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah,

JazakAllah brother Moazzam Begg for the excellent news and interview with our beloved brother in Islam - Imam Anwar al-Awlaki. We have been waiting for his release and making dua's for him, asking Allah to shower him with patience and increase his eeman in difficult times.

Alhamdulillah, his release is a good news for every Muslim. His lectures have been a great source of relevant knowledge for us. We have studied each and every one of them. Personally I have listened to most of the lectures more than 2 times.

Inshallah, I hope that Imam Awlaki will come up with more lectures.

I also hope that Imam Awlaki will take advantage of technologies on the web to spread the knowledge of Islam. Especially sites like YouTube (where he could create his video channel), sites that allow to create personal radio stations would be of vast benefit to Muslimoon. I encourage him to open his personal blog or site, and publish his lectures for free to download too.

There are very few scholars to talk the truth nowadays. And Imam Awlaki is one of them. So please share your knowledge with us brother Anwar.

Wassalam.

P.S Please pass this comment to Imam Awlaki

Assalamu'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahee wa Barakatu

Remember, the severance of the ordeal depends on the status of the person.

Motto: Don't expect to reach high status without being tested before reaching it and especially afterwards.

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala knows best, but I assume that one of the reasons of the confinement was that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala wanted him to live a longer period of time in solitude. Imam Anwar al-Awlaki has done alot of public work and probably was in public all the time, so Allah guided him to this season of solitude to refresh his heart and mind.

"Truly amazing is the affair of the believer. His affair only contains good. If he is blessed with good he thanks God and in that there is good. And if he is afflicted with difficulty he patiently endures and in that there is good." (Sahih Muslim)
